灣仔作為香港的商業及文化中心之一,除了咖啡店林立之外原來泰國菜亦星羅棋布,傳統或新派、平民小店或中高檔餐廳都一應俱全,而最近備受矚目的正是距離港鐵灣仔站約4分鐘路程的泰鑫,地理位置方便,店內以純白和木色為主調,舒適柔和。泰式生菜包 ($98)豬肉碎加入大量蔥花炒製,整體調味比坊間一般泰式生菜包較為清淡,香茅味道馥郁,酸甜微辣。泰式手打炸蝦餅 ($88)三件炸蝦餅切半並配上泰式甜辣醬,雖然蝦味不算鮮明但口感煙韌彈牙,如果能嘗到粒粒蝦肉的話會更上一層樓。泰式燒牛肉 ($138)牛肉燒至表面微微焦香而內裡保持粉嫩,肉質軟腍毫不帶筋但稍欠肉味,炭燒味較肉味更為突出。泰式船湯麵 ($138)泰式船湯麵有豬或牛兩款選擇,前者配上豬肉、肉碎及豬肉丸,而後者則有牛肉及牛肉丸,厚切牛肉及牛肉丸口感皆比較軟腍,炸豬皮保持香脆值得一讚,麵質細滑不過浸軟速度較快。泰式黃咖哩軟殻蟹+薄餅 ($268)軟殻蟹炸得酥脆並裹滿椒鹽更加香口,黃咖哩辣味溫和而椰香醇厚,以黃咖哩蘸滿薄餅份量亦綽綽有餘。
