Environment:
Pretty tight. There are 2 tables of 4 and the rest are single bar seats, with another counter top against the wall sitting around 4. In total there's around 16 seats (max)?
Staff: friendly, eager to explain the menu. I was slightly confused when I stepped inside coz I didn't quite know how and where to order..or whether they'll come to take your order. So you pay up front like at McDonalds near the door. Octopus payment available.
Food:
There are 4 types of sandwiches affectionately named, MOO (i cringed), house-cured salmon, pork belly (oink..?) and funghi porcini. You can add a salad, tea by Mariage Freres or an espresso for $25.
I ordered a lunch set consisting of a Funghi Porcini sandwich + mushroom bisque $59.
Funghi Porcini sandwich
Conclusion:
A bit of a let-down re: funghi porcini sandwich but I will return to try the others. Pork belly sounds good.
Other Info. :
House red and white available at $58/glass.
