To be honest I had low expectations. I thought it was a cheap French resto tying to be more upscale than it is. But I was happy with the service. But I was happy with the service. I came for a late lunch close to 130pm and people were close to finishing their meal. So the staff was busy brining coffee, cleaning up, or taking care of the bills. But as I was seated, I was promptly attended to with the menu and offered a drink.

I ordered the set lunch. A choice of soup or salad. I chose the soup if the day cream of escargot. Here I go again rolling my eyes. But it came quickly and hot. Not too creamy and full of flavor.
For the main I chose the duck leg. Two large pieces. I finished one and a half. The skin could have been crispier but the dark meat of the leg was soft and moist. The dark cherry gravy had the right amount of sweetness. The mashed potato and vegetables were also made and cooked right.
Finished off with coffee that goes with it which I change to an espresso.
All for just $108.
