Autumn of seonam villege:
We all loved the name of the dish. It was made from some sorts of noodles with sesame sauce, as well as tomatoes, cucumbers and lettuce for garnish.

The noodles were thin enough so that they could absorb the sesame sauce in the dish. They were also served cold, which was perfect and appetising in this hot weather.

When it snowed on jangdokdae:
Rice cake is one of the most popular foods in Korean cuisine. I think frying it in hot and spicy sauce is the best way to cook it. However, as one of us didn't like spicy food, we ordered the one in carbonara sauce instead.

The dish was served with salad and homemade cherry tomato pickles. The salad was fresh. However, as a personal preference, I would much prefer fresh cherry tomatoes to tomato pickles.

The rice cakes were chewy and cute as they looked a little bit like shell pasta. There was also a lot of bacon in it. The sauce was creamy and didn't have a strong taste of cheese, which was good as I ain't a fan of cheese.

In the royal azalea - blossom time at baraebong:
This dish looked absolutely appetising. Stir-fried Squids with sweet chilli sauce were put on 2 rice balls, and then garnished with salad. In fact, I wouldn't really call the sauce sweet chilli as it was more like spicy than sweet, but it was perfect for me as I love spicy food.

Pasta with special made doen-jang cream sauce and pork belly:
Doen-jang in Korean literally means "thick sauce". While traditional homemade doen-jang is made with soybeans and brine only, many factory-made variants of doen-jang contain a fair amount of wheat flour just like most factory-made soy sauce does. Some current makers also add fermented, dried, and ground anchovies to accentuate the doenjang's savory flavor.

It's the first ever time that I tried pasta with this sort of sauce, which was thick and creamy indeed. Although it looked a bit like carbonara, it didn't taste anything like that.

Overall it was a nice experience eating in Hanbando. The names of the dishes here are forever so creative. Without reading the descriptions, it's hard to tell what exactly they are.
