Walking around MK, boyfriend and I smelled a gloriously strong smell of ... butter. Following the scent, we came up a take away shop called Rotiboy. Looking that the info, it apparently is from Malaysia with Hong Kong as it's newest international branch.

Menu is in English and Chinese. They seemed to serve  two types of buns: butter ($10) and durian ($15), along with coffee. They had a coffee and bun set for a special price. But we only wanted the bun. All the buns are already packaged in paper bags so takeaway was super fast.

As we both didn't like durian, we chose the butter one. It looked like a Japanese UFO bun and had the same crunchy topping. The bun was warm and crispy.

The bun was filled with melted butter. It smelled and tasted fantastic. Forget calories. This was a glorious buttery bun!

Nothing like runny butter to make your day complete. I will be back.
