Shek Mun, a pretty ‘exotic’ place that many people may not have even heard of before. And it has become quite a popular place for dining since it was reported by various news media and bloggers. Hence, I decided to give it a try.We had a linguini carbonara ($138) and a roasted fish fillet in lemongrass & lime butter sauce with risotto ($148). Tbh the price was a bit higher than I expected for such a distant (&inconvenient location), but if the food was good I wouldn’t mind paying more. The thing

Both the linguini and the roasted fish fillet were very salty, as if the chef forgot how seasoning worked. We had to chug the half a glass of water after taking a small bite of the food. The iced fruit tea I had was terrible too, so watery and tasteless, might as well just give us another glass of water...
hkfoodtour’s official verdict: Utterly disappointed with this place. Will not return.
