This little hideaway canteen serves wonderful dishes provided you know which to order. So far, the sweet and sour pork is quite impressive. But a word of warning. This is their interpretation of the classic dish. The batter is very thin, like a piece of paper. So if you prefer a heartier version, this is not it. The pork is good and lean, which is better from all those places who think they can get away with giving you fatty inferior cuts of meat.The other favorite is their steamed pork meatloaf

The other favorite is their steamed pork meatloaf. It is succulent and juicy, and very hot. Perfect with a bowl of rice.
The deep fried lotus and pork cakes are good too.
I cannot remember all the other dishes. But for a small cafeteria / diner type of place at these extremely reasonable prices, very good.
And the service is home style and friendly. In the evening the place is half empty. Good for a quiet evening dinner but if you need conversation the waiters will oblige!
