We’ve been fostering a dog from Hong Kong Dog Rescue for a few months now. Except the one time when I took the dog to a Dai Pai Tong near to our home for a quick lunch, he’s never been out of the neighborhood. The rain on this Sunday ruined our original plan to go hiking, so why not visit the On Dog Dog Cafe?I have been to this Cafe before with my dog-loving friends to see the huskies. This time, bringing along a dog who’s not very good at socializing with other dogs, I was a little bit anxious.
I have been to this Cafe before with my dog-loving friends to see the huskies. This time, bringing along a dog who’s not very good at socializing with other dogs, I was a little bit anxious. But NO, anxiety is NOT allowed in this Cafe. Their dogs are well-trained, and if the owners perceived any trouble between their dogs and guests’ dogs, they would lock away their dogs (I’m sure they are well compensated), or even provide on the spot training (to the human and the dogs), which is SUPER helpful. So don’t worry too much. Plus everyone there loves and knows about dogs, providing a truly dog-friendly environment for humans and dogs to chill. As a pet-friendly restaurant, they are PERFECT.
Other Info. :
I recommend calling them before you go to make sure that they are open, and check if the dogs are there so that you don’t go and realize they are off to Sai Kung!
