1) The shop is half empty when we arrived yet instead of giving us the more open seats thats close to the entrance, they gave us the table next to the kitchen which is also close to the toliet. We manage to change after complain (as my friend need to stand and give ways a few times for their supplier and staff). My friend is so pissed and wanted to leave. I wonder why if the tables r booked, yet the two tables of 4 are still empty at 1:50pm which is almost the end of lunch hour. We have no idea why such arrangement.
2) lunch set need to prebook ? - Most of the restaurants have lunch set menu at a reasonably price in soho during lunch time, they hv it but need to pre book so to have the lunch set otherwise al-la-ca only . I even asked can I just dial in now and book now - No. Ends up we pay a $120 for a fried noodle (super salty) and $170 for a beef curry (no rice include) $ 28 for a white rice. Not expensive but that’s so much better choices around the area eg the opposite soho spice / Tuk tuk thai
I didn’t brother to ask why the Above arrangements. Despite the service is ok and they gave us a mango sticky rice to apologize on hiting my friends chair but definitely no next time.
