World Traveler Siu Mai Platter
The latest Siu Mai Series inspired by traveling. The combo was different than what we had before in Wan Chai - more spicy flavors such as kimchi and tom yum goong. I especially liked the borscht siu mai which was succulent and appetizing, and the kimchi one which was hot and sour.
Chicken Feet w/ Beef Tripe
Soft chicken feet and tender beef tripes which had both soaked up the flavors of the savory sauce. Instead of peanuts, they put kidney beans underneath.
Beef Balls w/ Porcino
Served steaming hot. Moist and fluffy beef balls with fragrant coriander. The Worcestershire sauce had more umami than the usual one. Comforting dish.
Shredded Radish Puff Pastry
Beatiful spiral layers. Crispy on the outside. Juicy radish filling which was satisfying. Delicately flavored.
Green Tea Shaved Ice
First time to have shaved ice at a dim sum place. Served with azuki beans and milk. Fine shavings of ice with slightly sweet condiments and bittersweet green tea. Perfect finish of the meal.
