We went to this restaurant on a Friday night to celebrate a friend's birthday. The food was acceptable but the service was appalling. We first ordered drinks but they took more than 45 mins to arrive at our table. When drinks finally arrived, our orders were either missing or the wrong drinks were being served. We also requested for normal water for more than once but they never came. I guess the waiter was unimpressed that we didn't order the kind of water which cost money. The food also to

The food also took ages. We order a few snacks while waiting for everyone to arrive. 1/2 an hour after we made the ordered, one of the waiters turned up at our table to re-confirm the order. At any other restaurant, I would expect the food to be at our table instead of having to re-confirm the order.
Apart from snacks, we had pre-ordered a set menu which included appetizers (spring rolls, fried squid and tofu salad), main course (beef brisket curry, a giant bowl of rice, 2 plates of stir-fried veggie) and dessert (mango sticky rice, taro cake, ginger custard, sesame banana, and fruits). The food was so-so. One / two dishes could even be considered as nice. Although it was a bit annoying that ALL of the dishes were spicy while we agreed on having some of them being non-spicy to suit the people who did not eat spicy food. A number of us ended up having desserts only.
We had a cake prepared for our birthday girl. After the song singing and wish making, the staff came over and asked if we would like to have the cake packed and taken away. Was it the first day they operate a restaurant? Had it not occured to them that guests usually have the cake there and then instead of asking for a doggy bag?
Bill came to around HK$600 per person. Extremely over-priced given the poor service and the quality of food.
All in all, a very disappointing experience. I think the owner needs to think about time and staff management. Some of the staff had attitude problem. Definitely won't visit again. One can easily find better restaurants in Central at that price range.
