Worst Cup Cake EVER

The Bakery Cafe is a few minutes walk from my office, and after a few months of walking by since it opened, I thought I would give it a try mid-afternoon with a hankering for a bit of post-lunch sweetness.  It was the worst Cup Cake EVER - very dry and hard, cake just broke up trying to eat it and not in a nice "just-baked" way!  It was stale like it had been baked and defrosted over a week ago.  The place was empty  - going on this one visit, I understand why. The actual cake was small, most of

The Bakery Cafe is a few minutes walk from my office, and after a few months of walking by since it opened, I thought I would give it a try mid-afternoon with a hankering for a bit of post-lunch sweetness.  It was the worst Cup Cake EVER - very dry and hard, cake just broke up trying to eat it and not in a nice "just-baked" way!  It was stale like it had been baked and defrosted over a week ago.  The place was empty  - going on this one visit, I understand why. The actual cake was small, most of which went in the bin, and a complete waste of HK$30.
