My friends and I got a table here during restaurant week wanting to try the food everyone always raved about. The appetisers and desserts were acceptable. Main dishes were somewhat average and disappointing. The codfish was too salty and the duck rice just tasted weird so I didn't bother taking good pictures.
However, the worst part of the dining was the service. As we were hungry and after seeing how small the portions were for the appetisers, we asked for a few rounds of bread. In most restaurants, the bread requested with meals is usually free. If it isn't, the menu would usually state the price or waiters would inform us. However, we only found out that this restaurant charged us for bread when we checked the bill.
We asked a waiter about this and he said that only one round of bread was for free. We told him that we were not informed that we would have to pay for bread. He had the guts to ask if we wanted to void the bread. What great service (sarcasm). Perhaps they will charge for tap water next year?
The price for this quality of food and service is definitely not worth it.
Seriously Catalunya, if you don't want diners to dine cheaply at your restaurant, don't join the restaurant week deals. It has only made your reputation worse.
