I came for a lunch; we were 2 pax and we have ordered 3 set lunches. Each set lunch includes a drink but they missed the 3rd drink ordered (Ice Lemon Tea NO sugar); after 3 times requested the brought the Tea with Sugar, I’ve requested NO sugar and they took another 10min to bring finally the no sugar one. One of the drinks was a hot coffe that we specifically requested AFTER the food. They brought the coffee before the food. The waitresses have no English level at all (not even the basic words
One of the drinks was a hot coffe that we specifically requested AFTER the food. They brought the coffee before the food.
The waitresses have no English level at all (not even the basic words to work in a restaurant). We tried to order the leftovers to take-away but of course it was a Mission Impossible since the waitress’s English level is Zero. The 2 tables nearby even tried to help us and explain to the waitress we want to take some food to take away and the bill. After 10min waiting, they didn’t bring any Tupper for the take-away nor the bill; after 3min of watching the waitresses collapsed face and even calling her manager we decided to request only for the bill and finally with some signals she asked us to pay at the entrance (we were waiting more than 10min for the bill already).
I’ve been in HKG for more than 5 years and I’ve never experienced such frustration in a restaurant; not even in the most local small Chinese restaurants; not even 12 years ago in Guangzhou when not even smartphones without translators existed.
I will definitely NEVER come back.
