Was passing by and decided to drop in for lunch. With a michelin star awarded, who could pass this up? Unfortunately in the end, there was nothing too special in the food. We got the stir-fried bitter melon with salted egg-yolk & minced pork, and the braised minced meat & eggplant with shrimp roe, as part of the set lunch. Unfortunately in the end, there was nothing too special in the food. We got the stir-fried bitter melon with salted egg-yolk & minced pork, and the braised minced meat & eggplant with shrimp roe, as part of the set lunch.

The dishes turned out well but not spectacular. Home style cooking is a great trend right now which everyone loves, but the trouble is, its hard to find a stand out place, given most of the dishes are things that you can actually prepare at home. At least value wise it was ok and it wasn't too crowded at that time of day, but if thats all you need to earn a michelin star these days, not too impressed...
