Another belated Year of Dragon gathering, 4 of us, craving for fine Japanese cuisine and sake. First time visit, recommended by one of us whom is a frequent consumer. Forgive me, I really can't name all the food I have, but referring to the pictures, all are delicious.The manager is very pleasant, together with the Chef and his team, offering a highly customer satisfaction atmosphere for us to enjoy the night. The manager is very pleasant, together with the Chef and his team, offering a highly customer satisfaction atmosphere for us to enjoy the night. The restaurant is small, offering a cozy environment, very suitable for small gathering.
1st dish, scallop, oyster and Amaebi Guess what, the Chef showed us a "just arrived" box of amaebi, real fresh. All these 3 are fresh, sweet...delicious. As usual. deep fried shirmp head, perfect!
Followed by Japanese whelk 螺, 爽甜, 5 more dishes of fish sashimi; toro with gold leaf, meaning a prosperous year; 小池魚, another special thing is, the sauce of the second lat one, is made of the fish liver, because it's freshly made, no fishy taste, very nice.
Hokkaido uni, Yummy! My favorite. They also have imported uni from Canada too.
Time to have something hot...tuna 鱼骹, perfectly grilled, crispy skin and the soft bone can be easily chewed. My 2 other friends also ordered 饭團, and we have a specially arranged dessert.
We bought 3 bottled of sake, plus 1 ordered from them, price is reasonable of such high quality.
Another "hot pick" in my Japanese list.
