I went to Xi Yan with my boyfriend for dessert. This was our second visit to Xi Yan. We enjoyed our first visit, and left satisfied this time as well.I tried the Rocker Chocolate Ice Cream, number 88 on the menu. It was only when my boyfriend mentioned that Rocker must stand for Ferrero Rocher that I realised the sauce on the ice cream was made from the chocolate of the same name.My dessert came garnished with a slice of candied orange. Dried fruit lovers may enjoy this, but I found it too sweet

Also, I didn't particularly like the chewiness of the fruit in combination with the rich and smooth ice cream. However, I couldn't really taste the chocolate ice cream as the Ferrero Rocher sauce overpowered it. Not that I minded. When I ate the ice cream together with the sauce, it really was just like eating the Ferrero Rocher chocolate, only creamier and colder.The only chocolate dessert on the menu, Rocker Chocolate Ice Cream is a must-try for fans of Ferrero Rocher.
