We decided to finish our Sunday exploration of Tai Wai with dinner. We came aross this place called E is for Egg. A small take away shop with a very limited amount of seats. It appeared to serve egg sandwiches of various kinds. Menu is in English and Chinese. There is no 10% service charge. And for those that don't want sandwiches, they offer various rice bowls.A drink can be added for $10. A drink can be added for $10. I ordered the fruit tea which was basically Twinnings.  So if you love Twinnings fruit infusion teas, then you know what this will taste like.

I had the Scambled Egg Toast with Doule Cheese and Sausage ($38). This I loved. The toast was actually thick slice of toast that was slit down the middle.  The outside of the toast was buttered and crispy. The filling was then stuffed into it. The egg was fluffy and not over cooked. The sausage meat was delicious and not too salty. The only thing was for double cheese, I really didn't detect much of it.

Boyfriend wanted a bit more to eat so he ordered a Japanese style stewed beef brisket rice ($50). This was a bit average. Portion size was plenty. But the meat felt like teriyaki sauce seasoned heavily with shimichi.

The toast was the item to order. You can basically skip on the rice as there are better places for this. The food comes out pretty slow as it's made to order. But the staff was really nice and apologetic about making people wait. Would definitely come again if in the area.
