Getting to SUMI again yesterday with my friends gathering and in a old building in TST quite static in the boom close to the MTR . Shocked When I called to make a reservation, I was informed that there are last seating available from 9pm-11pm luckly.
Once we got off the elevator, we had to ring the doorbell before we were let inside the restaurant. We smelled lots of smoke and there have many yakitori on the burning stove in that movement. The restaurant was an big open kitchen there so it's quite interesting that you can see the chef was busy to prepared for the food. But it was not that good is my clothes will have slightly yakitori smelled. Haha...

Basically, this is my third times came to here because their Yakitori quite outstanding like ox tongue, chicken stick, cattle rib string and grilled fish. (It's not too dry ...there juice
The grilled ox tongue was executed nicely here as well as the tongue was juicy and tender while seasoned perfectly. A wasabi mustard sauce was provided as well though. But this times we order very fresh Toro Sashimi and Uni.  The Toro is my flavor....Most fat fish, can be said that melts...Taste good

It's the first times that I tried A5 class WAGYU and cattle snowflakes evenly more dense distributed over the cattle full of flavor oil incense.   in order to bring melts in your mouth so we cooperate with liquor. For some people maybe not too accustomed.

Besides, we knew that there have 2 Oyster days per week so I booked 3 dozen for that it's fresh air come,so to advance order.  Size is big, taste good saltwater strongly but for me one is enough..

Overall, Yakitori and Sashimi here was on average pretty good.  I cannot say it's the best in town, but are reasonable prices.  The service was friendly too so that's why I want to sharing to others.   It's a nice hidden stone in old building and wait for people to discover.
