Godbro XO saw my mom's status online saying that she wanted pizza, so XO asked if I wanted to check out Jacomax's new branch in Wanchai and bring home a pizza for mom. I've been to the Jacomax in Sheung Wan, and the pizza was really good, so, without hesistation, I said yes!
The reason I haven't been back to the Sheung Wan branch is that the last time I was there, it was really crowded!
The newly-opened Wanchai branch feels a lot more spacious! The tables are not crammed together, and the decor was very quirky! There were parodies of famous paintings as well as funny sculptures. The decorator definitely has a fun sense of humor!
XO and I looked through the Awesome Food Menu, and we were trying to balance the amount of dinner we would order and desserts. However, it turned out that since the restaurant has just opened, the desserts were not available. Also, they don't have their liquor license yet, so XO couldn't have his happy hour drink either!
Since they didn't have alcoholic drinks, I just ordered my usual Coke Zero, which was served with a mason jar type mug!
After looking through the menu, we decided to order the chicken wings to start (XO's must have--chicken wings), a Hawaii Pizza, and a vegetarian pasta (XO gets wings, I get pasta with green stuff!)
While XO was gnawing on his wings, the Italian pizza chef made our Hawaii Pizza in the front of the restaurant, and in no time, the pizza arrived at our table!

Now that Jacomax has a new branch in Wanchai that is more spacious and closer to home, I have another choice of pizza joints! Can't wait to visit Jacomax again when their full menu is available!
