Out of all Chinese cuisine, I would consider dim sum to be my favourite. The way each item seems to be so delicately made presents a visual sensation that stimulates the palate prior to tasting. Served in a miniature bamboo steamer, it looked like a siu mai except it was wrapped with a green skin. Each mouthful was full of meaty lobster which was tender and juicy showing that it had not been over steamed.

This was quite normal, but the ingredients were fresh. The glutinous skin was still delicately chewy and the prawn was sweet.

I didn't try this, but my friends seemed to enjoy it.

This was decent, to be honest I think the scallop cheong fun at Sheraton's Celestial Court is better, but as long as the ingredients are fresh and the rice roll is not over steamed nothing can go wrong.

This was so so good. The abalone was so soft and tender and the buttery shortbread was firm enough to hold the entire filling, but crumbled gently as you bit into it. The subtle sweetness of the pastry did not overpower the abalone, but was a perfect complement. Can definitely see why this is one of their signature dishes.

This I was a little skeptical about how good it could be as it is a pretty normal dish. But as I took a bite, I was pleasantly surprised at how soft and pillowy the bun was and how crisp the sugar topping was. The BBQ pork filling was extremely tender with enough hoi sin sauce to keep it moist.

This was perfectly cooked and interspersed with fresh chunks of lobster. With the addition of chilli sauce it really took the flavour to another level.

The meal ended with petite fours of yellow bean coconut pudding and sesame biscuits.

Definitely highly recommended, especially the abalone pastry and BBQ pork pineapple buns~
