Finally tried the Globe, a British pub that I have bookmarked for long time. Saw @annieatsalot ‘s post and it seems so tempting, so I couldn’t wait any longer, here I am finally! And it didn’t disappoint! What we ordered: Scotch egg, ham cock croquette, fish & chips, and mushroom beef pie. I think everything was great except the fish & chips, the fish wasn’t too tender, is a bit chewy for my liking, I’m not sure if that’s the texture they like in UK… I remember the ones I had In London weren’t t

I love the ham hock croquettes, so creamy and flavourful inside the crispy exterior, the signature mushroom beef pie was very good too! First time trying scotch egg, it taste as good as it seems!
I really wanted to order dessert, but I was too full…
Overall, I think everything was quite on point at reasonable price, portions of food were really generous, a great place to chill with a group of fds.
