I ordered my usual favorite. Fish roe with spring egg udon. You mix it up and the egg is your basic sauce for the udon. It was slightly spicy from the fish roe. Udon was chewy.
Boyfriend and I shared some tempura. From left to right: tempura squid with nori, fried chicken, tempura egg. Squid was soft, not chewy. The addition of the nori was a great combination with the squid. Fried chicken was surprisingly good. Crunchy exterior. Moist interior. The tempura egg had a crunchy exterior. Coating of tempura was not to thick. Egg yolk was still runny. A semi soft egg!
Look how wonderfully runny the yolk is!
Always good tempura!
