As the weather wasn't so good and we were Macau-bound for the day, we headed off into the big shopping mall complex connecting Four Seasons, the Venetian and the Parisian hotels in search for a lunch fix. It was just a short walk into the less crowded Parisian until we found ourselves in front of Vibes, a modern looking restaurant. The menu offers a standard selection of meaty main courses, including a handful of seafood dishes, deep-fried appetizers and internationally inspired desserts from pudding to tart cakes. It looks to me like a very general international menu, although they claim to serve "European cuisine with Asian flavors". Food RundownSoft Shell CrabCrumbly on the outside, meaty on the inside, and crunchy at its base (the shell). Smells very buttery, too. Pretty nice.Seafood Stew with RiceI quite liked this. The soup was suitably soursweet, didn't feel greasy and had little bits of rice that's soaked up all the tomato goodness. This makes a great choice of comfort food post a late night. Seafood included mussels, mini octopuses and prawns, but lacked freshness. Chicken Farmer BreadCurry wasn't my favorite kind. It wasn't either the Thai, Indian, nor Japanese variety. It was a bright yellow—neither creamy not eggy—with loads of butter and oil. Chicken was breast meat; felt overcooked and dry. Overall just alright.Service: Service is not terrible, but as with most restaurants in Macau you can expect a bit less than you would in Hong Kong. Two bonus points for offering a phone-charging station in the restaurant.Price: About right. Approx. MOP/HKD 350-400 per person.
