Pumpkin is very nutritous as it provides a lot of beta carotene which is good for vision and the skin. Pumpkin gives a very sweet taste, and is good eaten with plain congee. This is also a very typical food found in Taiwan.
Ingredient and Portion
pumpkin 400g
rice(uncooked) 1cup
Method
Steam pumpkin,remove skin and seeds;place in blender and beat into puree.
Put pumpkin and rice with enough water and cook congee.
