This makes a healthy and tasty breakfast especially for kids and those wanting to increse their fibre intake. Bananas are rich in fibre content, as well as wholewheat flour. Above this, this hot cake recipe is even low in fat!

Ingredient and Portion
Wholewheat flour 11/2 cup
baking powder 1tsp
banana (ripe;large) 1pc
eggs 2pcs
lemon juice 1tbsp
sugar 2tbsp
salt 1/4tsp
milk 1cup
raisins 2tbsp
honey or syrup to serve
Method
Beat eggs.
Peel skin from banana,add in lemon juice and press into puree with a fork.
Combine flour and baking powder, Sift into large mixing bowl and stir in salt,sugar and milk.
Add in raisins and egg mixture and stir until mixture is smooth.
Stir in mashed bananas,mix until well combined
and let rest for about 15 mins.
heat a little oil in a non stick pan, pour in about 1/2cup of mixture each time and pan fry until done. Serve with honey or syrup and butter if prefered.
Tips
to reduce fat content, substitute milk for skimmed milk.
