wash all ingredients well.
Cut tomatoes into 8 wedges.and shred the cabbages into thick shreds. Cut carrots,corn and potatoes to desired size.
Soak chestnuts in hot water, discard,and remove peel.
Bring stock and some water to the boil, put in carrots,tomatoes,corn and chestnuts.When carrots are soft,turn on slow heat and simmer for about 2 hours.
Add cabbages and potatoes only half an hour before drinking the soup. Bring the soup to the boil and add in cabbages and potatoes along with salt and pepper.
if using vacuum pot,bring broth and water to the boil and pour into pot along with all ingredients and let cook.
