Ingredient and Portion
Pizza base:
75g of self rasing flour
75g of whole wheat plain flour
Pinch of salt
30ml of Oliver oil
60ml of warm water(don't use all if the dough is already wet enough)
Topping:
2-3 tsp of Ketchup(or tomato puree)
Half of medium sized Coughette
6-10 thin sliced Beef
2 slices of tined Pineapple(you may put on more if you like it)
60g of cheddar cheese(grated)
Method
1.Defrosted beef, cut coughette into thin sliced, marinated with little salt and 1 tsp of oliver oil.
2.Mix flours, salt, oliver oil and warm water in a large bowl until you could form a dough ball.
3.Roll out to form a pizza shape on a floured surface.
4.Place the base on a non-stick baking sheet.
5.Evenly pick the base with a folk to make some little holes.
6.Spread the ketchup onto the base and then cover them with sliced coughette, put the sliced beef nicely and evenly on top.
7.Scatter the pineapple over and sprinkle the grated cheese over the top.
8.Preheated at 220C, put in the oven for 12-18 minutes, until the base is crispy and the cheese is golden and bubbling.
Tips
1.Make sure the toppings (like coughettes and pinapples) have squeezing out the liquid before putting on the base.
2.It's also nice to put aubergine, tomato, red and yellow pepper, sweet corn, onion, oliver, basil leaves... as the topping. Make sure the vegetables are thin sliced and marinated with little salt, pepper and oliver oil and squeezing out the liquid before putting on the base.
3.It’s also nice to add some mozzarella cheese to the base.
4.If vegetarian, may just leave out the beef slice or use sliced boiled eggs instead.
5.Do not intend to put on too much topping, keep it simple, taste better!
