Considering that not everyone can afford to savour Shark's Fin soup everyday, this imitated version can be a good substitue as it is not only very affordalble in price, it is also very easy to make, and requires very simple ingredients.

Ingredient and Portion
Bean vermicelli(soak in water til soft) 1 small packet
Lean pork 50g
Dried mushrooms (soak in water to soften) 5pcs
Ginger 1 slice
Canned chicken stock 1 can
Seasoning
light soya sauce 1tsp
dark soya sauce 1tsp
chicken powder 1/2tsp
sugar 1tsp
sesame oil.salt and pepper pinch of each
wine 1tsp
Method
When mushrooms are soft, cut them into fine shreds or slices.
When vermicelli are soft, cut into shorter pieces.
Slice lean pork and marinade with 1tsp of light soya sauce, and 1/2tsp each of pepper,sesame oil and wine.
Heat a little oil in pan, fry ginger slice, add in pork shreds and pour in wine. Add in remianing ingredients and bring to the boil, and thicken it with some cornstarch solution.
