This soup can be prepared in no time, and if you cannot afford the time to wash and rinse fresh mussels, frozen and prepared ones available in supermarkets do just as well.
Ingredient and Portion

450g of white gourd
240g of fresh mussel
5 cups of water
3 pieces of green onion
some sliced ginger

Seasoning

1 1/2 tbsp salt
1/2 tsp of cooking wine.
some tbsp sesame oil.

Method

Peeled and diced white gourd.
Add 5 cups of water into the cooker. Add white gourd, sliced ginger, green onion and mussel to boil at hight temperature..
Turn the temperature low and slimmer until the white gourd turns to be soft and tender. Add salt and cooking wine for seasoning. Spread sesame only seasoning. Spread sesame oil. Serve hot.
