Steaming fish is often quite difficult to handle. For beginners, start with this dish which is always popular as a family dish. This dish is not only delicous, but also very healthy and nutritous as well.

Ingredient and Portion
red snapper 1 whole, about 1kg OR
fish fillet 1kg
red tomatoes 4pcs (cut into 4 wedges each)
green bell pepper 1pc (cut into 6 wedges)
oil for frying 2tbsp
Seasoning
Marinade:
coarse salt 1 1/2tsp
pepper 3/4tsp
ginger juice 1tbsp

For the sauce:
Tomato ketchup 2tbsp
tabasco 2tsp
sugar 1tbsp
chicken powder 3/4tsp
water 3/4 combined with 1/2tbsp of cornstarch
cooked oil 1tbsp
Method
Wash and scale the fish. Wipe dry, and rub marinade all over body evenly(even inside body). Heat some oil in a pan, and pan fry on both sides of fish until golden in colour. Take out and reserve for later use.
Heat some oil, stir fry bell pepper and tomatoes. Add in ingredients for sauce, and cook for a while until it thickens. If sauce is too thick, add a little bit of water.
Put fish back in the sauce and briefly cook and serve, ouring sauce over the fish.
