Terms and Conditions of Service

Terms and Conditions of Connecting OpenRice Member Account with Hang Seng Credit Card:
1. Members of OpenRice (“OpenRice Members”) can connect their Hang Seng Visa, Mastercard® Credit Card or Spending Card, excluding Hang Seng enJoy Visa Platinum Card, Hang Seng enJoy Spending Card, Hang Seng UnionPay Credit Card, USD Visa Gold Card, Renminbi Credit Card, UnionPay RMB Diamond Commercial Card, e-shopping Mastercard® and Private Label Cards (“Eligible Credit Card”), issued by Hang Seng Bank Limited (“Hang Seng”) to their OpenRice Member accounts at OpenRice Mobile App (“OpenRice Platform”).
2. Upon successful connection of OpenRice Member accounts with the Eligible Credit Card, OpenRice Members can earn the extra +FUN Dollars and/or redeem the +FUN Dollars to offset the spending for the designated eligible transactions on OpenRice Platform paying with the Eligible Credit Card subject to the relevant terms and conditions (the “Services”). The Services will be based on individual card accounts where combined use is prohibited (including any Supplementary card account either in separate credit limit or sharing same credit limit with the Principal card account).
3. Account verification will be done for the account connection to OpenRice Member account. Hang Seng will authorize an amount of HK$1.0 or below to verify the Eligible Credit Card, and the amount will not be posted to the Credit Card account. OpenRice Members would receive a “Card-not-present” Transactions Notification sent by email, SMS or mailed letter from Hang Seng. The notification will be sent to the contact information as per Hang Seng’s last updated record.
4. If, during any time on the OpenRice Platform, OpenRice Members exit from OpenRice Platform voluntarily or involuntarily due to, including but not limited to, network disconnection, technical device malfunction or unexpected outage on OpenRice Platform, OpenRice Members will not be able to enjoy the Services and for which Hang Seng will not be responsible. OpenRice Members may however go through the verification steps in clause 1.3 again for the Services.
5. The information inputted by OpenRice Members for connecting the Eligible Credit Card to OpenRice Member accounts will only be used for the Services, related information will not be used for any other purpose.
6. By successfully connecting OpenRice Member accounts with the Eligible Credit Card accounts, OpenRice Members authorize and agree to give consent to Hang Seng for transferring to OpenRice the information relating to the +FUN Dollars rewards earned or redeemed on OpenRice Platform, effected by OpenRice Members using the Eligible Credit Card from time to time for OpenRice’s transactions and services, and displaying the relevant details to the OpenRice Members on OpenRice Platform. Such +FUN Dollars information will not be used for other purpose.
7. OpenRice Members may manually change or add the connected Eligible Credit Card anytime.
8. OpenRice Members who merely completed connecting Eligible Credit Card on OpenRice Platform should not be treated as any confirmation of his/her eligibility to participate in any card promotion offer of extra rewards. Whether the OpenRice Members, or the transactions the OpenRice Members performed, on the Eligible Credit Card are eligible to participate in the extra rewards offer is governed by the applicable Card Promotion Offer Terms and Conditions.
9. The Eligible Credit Card accounts should remain valid and in good standing for connecting to the OpenRice Member accounts, and for the Services mentioned above.
10. OpenRice Members can at any time disconnect the Eligible Credit Card on OpenRice Platform.
11. OpenRice does not involve in the decision of granting the +FUN Dollars /extra +FUN Dollars nor accepting the redemption of +FUN Dollars.
12. The personal data passed to and/or collected by Hang Seng will be governed by Hang Seng’s Policy Statement relating to the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance at https://www.hangseng.com/en-hk/important-message, while the personal data passed to and/or collected by OpenRice Platform will be governed by OpenRice’s Privacy Policy available on https://www.openrice.com/info/tnc/OR-pp-en.html.
13. The Services are applicable to OpenRice Platform in Hong Kong only, and are available on Apple mobile device with iOS version 9.0 or above and mobile device with Android OS version 4.4 or above. OpenRice Members must update OpenRice App version to 5.13.0 or above to enjoy the Services.
Terms and Conditions of +FUN Dollars Redemption in OpenRice Platform:
1. OpenRice Members can redeem +FUN Dollars of their Eligible Credit Card connected to OpenRice Platform to offset the payable amount of designated eligible transactions on OpenRice Platform.
2. OpenRice Members can select the Eligible Credit Card they wish to redeem with +FUN Dollars when performing the designated eligible transactions. Hang Seng is not responsible for any failure to submit and/or process any redemption arising from any delay, interruption or disruption of OpenRice Platform or system.
3. +FUN Dollars redemption instructions, once confirmed on OpenRice Platform, cannot be cancelled, amended or reversed.
4. +FUN Dollars redemption on OpenRice Platform is subject to these terms and Conditions together with:

Remark: Hang Seng Spending Card account is a non-interest bearing account. Funds maintained in the Hang Seng Spending Card account are not protected deposit and are not protected by the Deposit Protection Scheme in Hong Kong.
