想不到午餐吃甚麼,就到了媽媽推介的八方雲集試試。在窄長的店鋪坐下,要了韓式辣鍋貼+招牌水餃套餐,兩杯凍豆槳,一個新竹米線。店員有點不情願的落了單,等了一會豆槳就先送到。冰凍的它豆味不太濃,不過頗甜,夏天喝令人透心涼。之後新竹米線也熱騰騰的上桌,米線上面有肉碎、香茜、蒜片和一粒貢丸,分量頗大;不過米線煮得不夠淰,湯底也沒有味道,只有一層油在上面,貢丸也不香,只有曖昧的肉味。鍋貼和水餃,我個人較喜歡惹味的韓式辣鍋貼,貪它裡面有泡菜粒,咬開時有辣汁流出,幾好味。不過鍋貼煎得油光滿面,幸好是一口的大小,所以不會太肥膩。水餃是用豬肉和菜粒做餡的,味道很淡,我要狂點醋和加辣椒油來調味。媽媽想追加兩隻鍋貼,不過原來店內規矩是要最少加五隻的,所以作罷。午餐不貴,也夠飽肚,不過味道未算特別,店舖的衛生也不算太好,我想我如果想吃鍋貼的話,這裡不會是我的第一選擇;外賣也應該會比堂食好。

之後新竹米線也熱騰騰的上桌,米線上面有肉碎、香茜、蒜片和一粒貢丸,分量頗大;不過米線煮得不夠淰,湯底也沒有味道,只有一層油在上面,貢丸也不香,只有曖昧的肉味。


鍋貼和水餃,我個人較喜歡惹味的韓式辣鍋貼,貪它裡面有泡菜粒,咬開時有辣汁流出,幾好味。
不過鍋貼煎得油光滿面,幸好是一口的大小,所以不會太肥膩。

水餃是用豬肉和菜粒做餡的,味道很淡,我要狂點醋和加辣椒油來調味。


媽媽想追加兩隻鍋貼,不過原來店內規矩是要最少加五隻的,所以作罷。


午餐不貴,也夠飽肚,不過味道未算特別,店舖的衛生也不算太好,我想我如果想吃鍋貼的話,這裡不會是我的第一選擇;外賣也應該會比堂食好。

5 點幾落樓同老公食八方,又係無咩人的時間,倆口子輕輕鬆鬆嘆 late tea~~~ 其實有 d 迷上個酸辣湯~所以黎左食,同埋我記得可以食得好飽.....記得韮菜鍋貼套餐,老公要左招牌水餃套餐,佢跟左一碗玉米濃湯,真係幾濃,不過略嫌過甜...另加一碗大米線,米線無出面台灣小食店果 d 咁好食~不過 d 蚵仔幾大隻d 套餐跟餃子或鍋貼 10 隻,仲有果碗濃,好飽味道同屋企自己包果 d 差唔多,同埋其實餃既款式有 d 少,得果 4 款........野飲既選擇同茶餐廳差唔多........可唔可以多返 d 台灣特色野飲呢?另外之前見到好似有 d 特別既醬料點餃,但西環呢間真係咩都無.........多返 d 選擇的話就好了~~~

野飲既選擇同茶餐廳差唔多........可唔可以多返 d 台灣特色野飲呢?
另外之前見到好似有 d 特別既醬料點餃,但西環呢間真係咩都無.........
多返 d 選擇的話就好了~~~

One of these days I must try this joint, I once told myself when the first joint opened, and now, with many branches opening up at the time of writing, I finally plucked up my courage to walk in despite how discouraging it looked, including one near my house. This day at the West End I finally walked in, The joint was brightly lit with a lot of orange in the decor. It's very fast-food, and it smelled like a mixture of bleach (for the floors), hot grease (for the dumplings), and an unidentified vinegary smell. Not exactly the friendliest of places to begin with, but the dumplings looked curiously in 'sticks' form, crispy on both sides.

The 'Signature' dumplings did not give away the filling. It's cabbage and pork. The dumplings were crispy on the outside, but in terms of the crafty pleads potstickers generally have...these failed miserably, in a way that should honestly be considered "wrapper wrapping filling" because you can see the filling from each side of the dumplings, as if both ends of the wrapper adhered to each other and that was it. The wrapper itself felt doughy, and tasted like dough too, with a slight chewiness not expected from fine potstickers alike. The meat and cabbage filling was fair (on the first dumplings) but the novelty of "lightness" was soon gotten over with on the 5th dumpling. The filling was fluffy on the meat part but the cabbage soaked up into a mush. It's nowhere near the right proportion of meat vs vegetables. The "Chive and meat" dumplings were better The meat was as tasteless but the chives earned some perks with a pleasant garlicky taste, not to mention a pleasant colour of jade in the otherwise dreading dumplings.

"Hot and Sour Soup" was very hot, steaming as if it was a result of some prolonged period of vociferous boiling. The 'heat' resulted from the addition of white pepper -- a potent punch I'd say, and the vinegar tartness was very hard to detect from the thick soup. Unlike the usual hot and sour soup, this one did not have juliennes of tofu, but replaced by lanky strands of enoki mushrooms and carrots which made a supposedly very nutritional soup but disappointed as these vegetables turned limp in the broth. The 'Soy Milk' was good enough, served very cold and thick with a delicate sweetness to it. It went down easy to soothe the tickly feeling the freshly fried dumplings gave.

Having been here, the dumplings were made differently, and I would recommend the chive ones more than the signature. One good thing is that the dumplings are rarely fried in advance and left cool to room temperature. The fact that every order was served at optimal temperature (soy milk cold, everything else steaming) was one good reason to become a great dumpling parlour, which I assume this place intends to become in time, especially when more similar places are opening up fast. May return for the boiled dumplings at one point...

went to try this dumpling shop because it's just recently open and is near to my friend's home...ordered 2 sets Kimchi Dumpling(10 pcs) set with Hot and Sour soup - the soup was served luke warm, but the Kimchi Dumpling tasted...funny and the dumpling dough wrapping was not too thick. Pork and Veggie Dumpling(10 pcs) with Taiwanese Pork meat ball soup, the soup was so clear and blend, as well as the dumpling maybe because we had the kimchi dumpling before this....however could taste the fres

Kimchi Dumpling(10 pcs) set with Hot and Sour soup - the soup was served luke warm, but the Kimchi Dumpling tasted...funny and the dumpling dough wrapping was not too thick.

Pork and Veggie Dumpling(10 pcs) with Taiwanese Pork meat ball soup, the soup was so clear and blend, as well as the dumpling maybe because we had the kimchi dumpling before this....however could taste the freshness as the veggie was not dead like those forzen stuff you get from the supermarket

By the time we were there it was not busy so it took about 10 min for our food, just wonder if the store is packed the wait might be more obvious

Anyway it's ok to have a light meal there...or maybe you can get those prepared pack and cook at home take only 7 mins and enjoy it at your own comfort...

正月廿二‧陰天 很久沒有來這邊吃午飯,原來也開了好幾間新食肆,如在這條街,短短幾間舖位間,開了兩間賣窩貼的店子,先來吃這邊。是台灣來的過江龍,連鎖式經營,堂吃也賣外賣。餐牌以煎餃為主,只簡單的三幾味,組成不同的套餐,是日午市來到,也座無虛席的,加上不少的客人在等外賣,生意也不錯的。 就要了個招牌煎餃套餐,湯要了酸辣湯。這裡的酸辣湯不是滬式的賣相,喝起上來辣中帶酸,還下了金菇、甘筍絲等,味道沒有問題的,不過當然有點味精,可以理解;煎餃一客十隻,即叫即煎的,熱辣辣。煎得底部脆口,餡料是椰菜及豬肉,吃起來也幾鬆軟可口,沾上混了香醋的豆瓣醬,是好吃的。 一吃十隻煎餃,埋單28蚊,吃得飽飽的,喜歡吃煎餃的,可以一試。 題外話:走的時候太怱忙,遺下了物品,可幸阿姐代我收起,至其後時間才回來取回,在這裡說聲謝謝。

落街買野,行過見到好似幾好食就打包左個外賣當Tea叫左1號,最basic款的鍋貼,加貢丸湯,再加錢加了豆漿外賣包裝的確精美,盒子設計也滿講究26元十個鍋貼,但可能因為煎得不夠厲害所以打開之後就會部份黏在一起...=(所以如果能夠煎得可口一點,效果應該會更好但味道其實不錯,我是個對味道/重口味敏感的人一口吃下去,不是淡然無味,有種肉和菜的香味卻不會咸到很厲害,有種家裡包的餃子的味道,很欣賞貢丸湯方面,貢丸三粒,一般莞西湯滿不錯,飲下去沒有味精的感覺,很清 =)下次再試別的,不過價錢還是有點貴...而且好奇的是為什麼外賣不會送醋...而是李X記的豉油...點醋味道比較對吧?@@

但味道其實不錯,我是個對味道/重口味敏感的人
一口吃下去,不是淡然無味,有種肉和菜的香味
卻不會咸到很厲害,有種家裡包的餃子的味道,很欣賞

貢丸湯方面,貢丸三粒,一般
莞西湯滿不錯,飲下去沒有味精的感覺,很清 =)

下次再試別的,不過價錢還是有點貴...

而且好奇的是為什麼外賣不會送醋...而是李X記的豉油...
點醋味道比較對吧?@@

打正台式鍋貼和餃子旗號的專門店,近年陸續登陸香港。除了另一間四海遊龍之外,這一間叫八方雲集的,也是為人熟悉的連鎖集團之一。夜晚去了一趟,約廿餘元就有一個套餐,一款鍋貼/水餃 配搭一個湯品,叫了一個招牌的鍋貼,配上一個貢丸湯,先上的貢丸湯,只得三粒,味淡如水,貢丸也不是很有鮮味和彈性,和同類食品相比,可遜色了一大截。窩貼倒份量不少,約有十隻,外型和北方的甚有差別,反而外型上和食味,有點似日本的煎餃子,皮是薄薄的,烘得香脆,餡料是鮮肉另加菜粒,肉汁欠奉,醮料只是普通的黑醋、醬油和辣醬,給我來形容的話,就好像是日式超市買回來的急凍點心,翻煎而成。不熟台灣飲食文化,但從給日本人統治台灣的歷史(海角七號的情意結?!),相信這台式的鍋貼,和日本的煎餃子之間,有著互動影響的關係,作為小吃,已勝任有餘,只是款式較單調,有緣的話,下次會去相若風格的四海遊龍,試其醬油膏的味道。

上一次試過粟米湯, 念念不忘要試酸辣湯…因為晚點要吃壽司…所以只外賣了一碗酸辣湯…十二元~份量中等…色淡, 略稀, 比較水…裡面的材料有蛋絲, 冬荀, 蘿蔔絲, 木耳絲…料不算多…味道少酸不辣…其實我曾經在台南喝過我認為最好味道的台式酸辣湯…如果要比較~反而四海遊龍比這裡的更接近台式正宗的…所以下次要喝這裡的湯還是喝粟米湯好了…

去到門口時看見有好幾個人在排隊,幸好裡面還有一張二人檯,地方不算好大,勝在空氣流通,沒有很大的油煙味。不過,氣氛不是很好,說國語的主管很大聲地跟員工說話,有點兇,聽落難受。我同朋友一人要了一個餐:咖哩鍋貼(10隻)+ 旗魚湯 - 咖哩味幾香,不過食多幾隻會有點膩。旗魚湯似紫菜墨魚丸湯,只是味道較為細緻。招牌水餃(10隻)+ 酸辣湯 - 水餃皮好咬口,肉多。酸辣湯味道比較清,沒有特別濃烈的酸味或辣味。鍋貼和水餃的外表都很特別。雖然只是十隻,之後感到好飽。

其實我去台灣果陣己經食過一次~特別鍾意佢既鍋貼~因為台灣既同上海既唔同, 皮薄~我最鍾意….尤其是係韓式辣味既就最出色~最少要叫五隻, 所以叫左一個煎韓式辣味餃餐~同埋叫左一款招牌湯水餃~煎餃味道唔錯~但係略嫌少左0的肉汁…..招牌水餃就一般, 並唔係太特別…黃金咖喱餃呢....好香咖喱味....但係食落就唔係咁夾咯我覺得個味道~韮菜水餃~裡面好多菜~只係得好少肉, 而且仲係好肥既肥肉.....多菜係健康, 可惜肥豬肉又扣返分咯...不過令我最深刻既反而係碗粟米湯~佢睇落去少少似平常既西式忌廉粟米湯, 但係裡面會有紅蘿蔔, 火腿同埋肉碎......所以飲落去就似一個中式忌廉粟米湯, 我覺得味道唔錯喎~所以我會因為個湯再去果度食餃子~
