十二月下旬‧晴練習完畢,非常肚餓。想吃飯,但不想吃得太膩,吃個蒸肉餅正好。這裡的肉餅蒸得夠鬆,加入鹹魚及冬菇令風味不錯。將肉汁放進飯裡吃,簡單又美味。在咖啡或湯之中選了後者,甜得不可置信。埋單$39,真的不便宜。 继续阅读

The meal started off with the house soup. It was very rich. And I was assured by the staff that it had no MSG. It had some really fibrous and tough vegetables within, so I concentrated on the broth. Next, the entree I ordered arrived: Ma Po To Fu. It arrived about mid-way through the complimentary soup. It was served as a two-part dish. It had a ma-po-enough taste, but I thought it overpowered by all the pickles used. This provided a somewhat acrid distraction from the taste of the dish in its entirety. 逢過年返工,食飯一定貴,過年燒味特別貴,我又想吃,唯有去看邊間有開,在門口望望,都入了去,叫了燒鵝四寶飯,有燒鵝(無咩肉)、燒肉(個皮唔得、唔脆)、叉燒(有些瘦)、咸蛋(蛋黃少),其實燒味都唔會差得去邊,我覺得尼到燒味在荃灣黎講屬中下水準,可以再進一步。 继续阅读

十二月中旬寫了一整天的文,也有按不住FAAK(fall asleep at keyboard)的時候,揉著眼看看錶,驚噩已是十一時許,換件外套,襯館子未打烊前吃些東西,不然漫漫長夜也真難過。附近未關門的只有幾間茶記,都試過他們的水準,只是很一般,來到廣東燒味,且看午市燒禾花雀外,其餘燒味質素如何。一碟燒鵝四寶,說穿了其實是鴨不是鵝,因為細嚼下明顯帶點鴨臊,鴨胸部分燒得鬆腍,醃味剛好較陳記的燒鵝風味更佳,碟頭燒味$32,假燒鵝或真燒鴨也真的不便在如此價錢上挑骨頭去了。燒腩仔三層肥兩層瘦,肉色潔白,皮脆又富油甘,實在可口,唯用的是原份冰鮮腩肉來燒焗,實欠肉汁及彈性,當然也有不少支持肉鬆腍的冰鮮同好會喜歡這種質感的,燒腩仔兩邊同樣賣$80左右一斤,比較起來自己還是喜歡太興原隻豬燒的演繹。白飯吸盡了滷水豉油及燒味的油分,鹹香帶甜的白飯,就是香江的平民燒味味道。老闆肥仔是活躍又健談的人,是夜精景句:「好消息是今晚叉燒非常靚,而壞消息是剛好售罄,不如(下省萬字)...」 继续阅读
