First visit and very excited to visit a Viet fusion restaurant. Unfortunately food was quite average and service was downright rude and unacceptable. One would expect more from an upmarket branding and location. Disappointed would be a kind word for the overall experience. Wouldnt recommend it.

We have passed by this refined, modern Vietnamese restaurant a few times and decided to come here on a Wednesday night. It had a nice outdoor seating area with draping lights 💡, giving a very cosy and relaxing vibe. We sat indoor for the air-con. It was a busy night. Started off with a glass of cocktail 🍹, we ordered My Khe Time (HK$128). It was light and fruity. Couldn’t really taste the gin though. Very expensive at this price for a small drink. On par with LKF bars and hotel cocktail prices 💰

I feel, as the title mentions, that it’s quite hard to stand out as a Vietnamese restaurant in hk. There are TONS of low cost options, but there are also quite a number of higher end choices as well. Xuan is definitely one of the higher end options The interior design is nice. It’s one of those places that people would like a lot of they are a big fan of the use of wood in restaurants. 新派越南菜餐廳 Xuân 的生牛肉河粉用上美國安格斯特級肉眼，加上自家熬製24小時的牛肉高湯，每一口都是濃郁的牛肉香，亦可將加點的燒牛骨髓混入湯裡，為河粉增添獨特的油香。

呢排忙到傻，但都不忘抽空出去食下飯，放鬆吓。今次嚟到灣仔呢一間越南餐廳，第一印象係非常有格調，文青打卡味十足。不過食物味道就真係好一般啦。位於灣仔老區，周圍都有好多特色餐廳，呢間越南餐廳裝修當然唔失色，復古味十足。餐廳環境空間感好大，唔會坐得好迫夾。兩個人用餐，上菜時間都算幾快。今次叫咗一個越南豬扒碎飯，同埋個經典牛肉河粉，配油炸鬼同牛骨髓。當然都仲有啲前菜小食啦。前菜小食揀咗春卷，沙律同埋雞翼。成餐飯我覺得前菜已經係算最好食嗰part😂味道正常，沙律加咗花生粒，醬汁酸酸甜甜，口感唔錯，都算幾開胃。雞翼同埋春卷就正常，但就唔會話特別入味，或者個餡好好食。主菜的話，牛肉河粉上菜嘅時候係有一片生牛肉掛係個碗邊，浸落湯到佢先會慢慢熟。呢個擺盆好唔好就見仁見智，我個人就唔係好鍾意啲嘢生毆毆咁上菜既，所以就覺得視覺上唔係太吸引啦。同埋個牛肉湯底味道唔算好濃同和味，所以整個pho我覺得真係好減分。另外仲加咗錢配牛骨髓同油炸鬼。油炸鬼好乾好柴，唔好食。跟住個牛骨髓，有啲一言難盡，因為係半生既，刮到入邊啲骨髓因為太生，所以會連住啲骨，整唔到出嚟。仲要有血水流出黎。恕我眼界太窄，我真係未食生嘅牛骨髓。我

This is one of the most heated new restaurants recently. And after my visit, I find it no surprise why. Really wanted to add in the bone-marrow for HK$50 but opted not to, perhaps will try it next time.
