This place was probably one of the first korean fried chicken places to hit Hong Kong, even before the korea fried chicken crazy arrived last year. The popularity of this restaurant is second to none as you often see long queues outside. This time I went, I came for takeout and the wait was quite long but well worth it. The previous time, I was lucky enough to snag a table (inside seats at most 25 people). The restaurant is a no frills type of place, where people go to pound back a beer and have some good fried chicken. The chicken itself is juicy and plump and definitley not oily. The skin is very dry and crunchy. They also give some pickled carrots/radishes to accompany the chicken. I would recommend the original fried chicken insteads of the one doused with sauce but this may be just personal preference. One of my favorite things to order is the makuleh, which is korean rice wine...perfect to drink with fried chicken. Waitstaff are incredibly friendly as well.
