識我者皆明白我係100%食肉獸,真係食少一日都有D提唔起勁,所以一塊好肉對我黎講實在太重要(如同我能量之來源)肉之中我最愛雞,佢實在能做出多種風味,千變萬化!雞藕天成:今次試了榮式的燒雞扒,結果係好滿足,雞燒得剛好,唔同BBQ果D,無甘熱氣,但依然美味,我仲試左藕餅,水準亦佳,個組合名仲好特別,呢餐合格P.S.一星期後食左銅鑼灣果間分店,味道好像差DD~

榮式燒雞扒飯: 兩塊薄薄有皮無骨既燒雞扒,配少許炒什菜、薑蓉 & 飯。雞扒品質可以,唔係話好滑,但一D都唔"un",雞扒邊既皮燒到脆身,但中間既雞皮就唔脆,可能燒既過程令一部分雞油流失,雞皮唔太厚,所以唔會太濟口或太溜。雞扒味道可以,但未至於好有驚喜
。配飯個汁既味道就似日式燒汁加黑椒汁甘樣,ok無特別。
雖然望落送好似多過飯甘,但因雞扒較薄,所以成碟飯既份量ok,唔過多或過少。
但食第一啖雞扒要小心,因即燒關係,熱到辣咀既雞汁會必出黎!


後記:食完都唔覺,下奏三點幾朋友就發現呢個飯既味精都幾犀利!不過我係味精怪,我又ok, 無影響!嘻嘻


總括而言:平均水準可以,但唔係太amazing呢,不過值得encore!如果你期望唔過高的話, 你既滿足感會高d lor!

一次跟朋友去食,等位等左成20分鐘有少少燥,不過d waiter都幫你落單先但入到去.雖然好迫下.但係望到個飯d雞扒好香..食落有少少甜..個飯仲有薑蓉好好味,個汁送飯都一流但我叫的老水雞翼飯中,,雞翼好大隻幾入味,,但唔太有印象

My friend brought me here when I first moved to HK in FEB. 2009. I was amazed and totally speechless by how tasty their grilled chicken was. However, since they have remodeled this store and re-opened, the grilled chicken tastes no where as good as it was before. First of all, they do not grill it the original way. I was also served a chicken that was sitting around for a while. Do any of you guys know which store serves the grill chicken like it was made a few years ago? I know the one on Anton Street, Wan Chai is not much better. The Causeway store doesn't serve good grilled chicken, but it is the best store for the the deep fried pork chops. Although the last time I went, the deep fried pork chops were no where near as good as they were 6 months ago. I don't know what's happening to these stores. It seems like the food quality of the 2 wan chai stores and 1 causeway bay store is going downhill in the last 6 months.

黎緊既日子將會成日經過灣仔轉車返學, 決定invade哂灣仔既美食!而我開學後既第一站 -- 榮式燒雞扒見呢日幾肚餓, 想食d飽肚d既野, 又見呢間野係openrice幾好評,決定一試去到既時候已經過午飯時候, 但店舖仲係人山人海!一坐低,諗都無諗就叫左個招牌餐 - 榮式燒雞扒併蓮藕餅飯個餐估唔到上得好快...好肚餓, 先試蓮藕餅,材料幾足,有d肉,冬菇, 幾香!再試塊招牌雞扒,d燒汁做得唔錯,雞肉同皮唔會連住,d雞肉都幾滑!但係美中不足既係d雞扒同蓮藕餅都唔夠熱!

裝修後第一次惠顧, 得到以下結論: 亂糟糟, d位又窄又迫, 地下污糟, 等等等等等...等位就預咗, 但連食都要等...真係攪笑d咯....又漏單.仲以為用電腦會好d...... 態度真係有待改善!!!!

一直都想到這間遠近馳名的燒雞朳店吃飯,昨天終於有時間一試,店鋪已新裝修,與之前大大不同。食物方面,叫了一客燒雞朳豬頸肉飯、及一客蓮藕餅飯,味道可以,但不算是傳聞中的一試難忘。

睇完openrice食評, 今晚同女朋友特登搭$2電車落灣仔食佢ge燒雞扒. 叫左一個燒雞扒+豬頸肉飯, 同一個燒雞扒+番茄肉醬飯.燒雞扒, 有坑紋, 睇得出真係燒出黎, 皮與肉之間係零脂肪! 因為脂肪已經化為肉汁, 再混合埋佢ge祕制燒汁, 一口咬落去, 好似上左天堂一樣, 唔捨得翻落黎. 總之一句, 真係好食到唔捨得請!!!一定會encore再encore!

見咁多人話好食.. 今日lunch 去左試.. 叫左雞扒+ 豬頸肉... 有點名過其實既感覺.. 完全唔覺雞扒有咩特別,一d味都無... 同茶餐廳差不多.. 最重要係件雞扒同豬頸肉都係凍冰冰.... 應該唔會係煮左係度放得耐而凍, 因為有好多人慕名而來, 見佢都做唔切... 咁即係因為煮得唔熟而凍冰冰啦.. 唉..唔會再有第二次..

一向榮式的雞扒都是水準之作,今日又試下其他。但我食完後發覺如果再去榮式醫肚就都係食雞扒好D榮式雞扒并蓮藕煎肉餅飯薑蔥雞扒是保持水準的,肉餅比較起雞扒就普通點點,肉味不算好濃,肉質帶粉即不似啖啖肉的感覺(真不知裡面放了什麼)不能話是不好吃,但又算是好好的豬軟骨撈檬粉其實口感真似是食豬肉乾的感覺,肉質非常乾身和"鞋"口,雖然好入味,配料好豐富,但可能是食慣炆得軟腍腍的豬軟骨多D,所以我不太欣賞這。如果少D牙力最好考慮叫第樣食好D但都有抵讚的地方,友人話味道好有住家感覺,不是處處可以食到

少有遲了點起身想吃飯做早餐見過openrice話榮式10點開,就出發了10點9到,未ready開門,但員工好友善,話等10分鐘可以整一分比我雞扒拼豬頸肉,第一位客,食物新鮮煎的,雞扒真係除了長,是很脆的!豬頸肉有5-6片,見到大大分有開心!上次叫熱啡,無端端被加糖,今次講明凍啡少甜,得左!

尋日,因為去書展的關係....去了榮式食個lunch先~今次食了磨姑炒雞粒撈檬粉...第一次去也想食呢個了~但係最後都係食左個雞扒飯先..等了十多分鍾多...個撈檬粉終於來了,我倒下那些酸醋,食下去的感覺...給我卻是很奇怪.但磨姑炒雞粒的味道其實不差呢,只是太熱呢..至於配料上加了洋沖....可能因為平時慣食是冷冷的...撈檬粉的味道也是一般..吃了一半已經飽飽了...

期間有一件趣事:一位女店員看見我和同事拿手機拍照,以為我們勁鍾意食這裡的飯,冷笑一問:「咁都好影?」我笑答:「就係想上網寫佢唔好食!」豈料她真的點一點頭:「好啊,我地日日食,食到都唔想食,都唔明點解D人咁鍾意食?」她可能說笑,但有一點卻是真的:這所謂超級雞扒飯並不值得如此吹捧。

後來問了在金鐘上班的朋友,有沒有光顧這間店,及為何這麼多人來光顧?他嘿嘿一笑:「在這裡上班,難度天天去食貴野嗎?$40有個餐,算係咁啦!至於點解咁多人來幫襯?老闆真係要多謝蘇施黃同每個禮拜都要搵料刊登既各大飲食雜誌!」

都係果句:每個人口味唔同,我喜歡食的,跟你喜歡食的,絕對不一樣。這篇食評絕不是刻意要貶低支持「榮式雞扒」的人,而只是說出本人的睇法--這個雞扒飯味道可以的,價錢可接受的,環境是糟的,服務是一般的;最重要是若真的碰巧途經而不用花太多時間去等位的話,絕對可以一試。否則,我就不贊成專登乘車去試了。

不過有一句話是真的:那些飲食雜誌的專題介紹,及名人如蘇施黃的個人推介,就最好不要全信,當是有娛樂性的KILL TIME內容好了。
碟頭一般,幾啖食晒。

因為公司跟膳食小廚相距頗遠, 一向只會吃到此店的外賣飯盒, 雖然通常已變涼, 但亦覺得甚為美味! 今天午飯時特意跟老公到來榮式舊店, 可能因為另一條街有新店的關係, 所以只需在門口等5分鐘已有座位, 兩個人分別點了招牌雞扒飯及藕餅飯, 店員不消一會已送上熱騰騰的飯, 在店中食到的跟飯盒比絕對有過之而無不及, 雞扒皮脆肉滑, 肥膏已完全燒掉, 剩下又薄又脆的雞皮, 色香美俱全, 怕肥的我亦忍不住吃掉了半塊皮! 而藕餅我想應該是油炸的, 但絕對不油不膩, 餅中間夾雜着小粒的蓮藕, 很有咬口, 肉餅也不會死實! 伴碟的配菜有榨菜及葱油, 飯面淋有豉油汁, 令人不知不覺將全碟飯吃掉, 減肥者謹記落單時要小飯, 否則後果自負。雖然此店沒有裝修可言, 而且中午繁忙時氣氛亦令食客有點緊張, 但可幸店員有禮, 食物亦非常美味, 值得專程到此一試。

menu is quite clear. having read reviews, i was so happy to see that pork cartilage 豬軟骨 still on the menu and decided to order a chicken steak with pork cartilage 豬軟骨拼雞扒飯


also ordered a 雞扒拼豬頸肉 to try out their 豬頸肉, and a side of vegetables ($15) and was given a 'choice' between Chinese lettuce (tong sang choi) and iceberg lettuce (sai sang choi) - not knowing what 'sai sang choi' is, I ordered the iceberg lettuce thinking it was some kind of mixed vegetable!


1. chicken steak was so tender! love how it's cooked right away (as it claims). it is nicely marinated and i love the little bits of garlic and black pepper on the chicken. although the chicken is frozen chicken sold in bulk, it is prepared the best way possible. chicken was juicy and didn't taste greasy; the skin almost trickled down my throat!

2. my favorite however was not the chicken but the PORK CARTILAGE which was so soft; the meat attached to the cartilage was SOOOO richly flavored - it was a right balance between sweet and savory; and you can tell it was marinated for a while. i think i will order JUST pork cartilage next time! it is perfect with the rice that it came with.

Pork neck was only so-so and a bit dry...had 1 piece and didn't bother with the rest.

3. as for the rice it came with sweet-tasting (pre-sweetened, with a bit of oil too I'm pretty sure) soy sauce, like they do it in many cha chan tengs. given that the meats have so much flavor i don't think the sauce is neccesary; although i'm sure they do it just so some annoying customers don't complain. i will ask for plain white rice next time. rice is great too - it's medium grain (not long nor short).

4. all rice dishes come with a little bit of sauteed vegetables - it was a mix of cabbage, shredded carrots and jade melon. I really enjoyed how they are sauteed (not just steamed, like the side lettuce that I ordered) but it was slightly oily and (gasp!) the cabbage looked slightly old, with a bit of black spots..

5. side lettuce: steamed and topped with sweetened soy sauce. enjoyed the sweetness of the soy sauce but it cooked iceberg lettuce is not something i am used to.

6. ordered coffee to go with my food - they serve instant coffee.

the server who took my order rolled his eyes when i asked again about the choice of beverages because i didn't hear him well.


portions are adequate, i daresay on the hearty side for HK standards - my chicken and pork cartilage rice was a chicken steak of about 6cm long and 4 pieces of pork cartilage; chicken and pork neck rice was another piece of chicken steak and 4 slices pork neck (if i remember correctly)...didn't finish the chicken. i think the rice per order is about 1 1/2 cups = all very filling.


WILL DEFINITELY COME BACK FOR THEIR PORK CARTILAGE!!!!!!!
