復活節假期來到尾聲,為了支持本地消費,特地來到西貢走走、看看、吃吃。和從前每逢假日都擠得水洩不通的情況相比,粗略看,西貢人流,確實少了一半。人、財兩不旺,餐飲業首當其衝。正午12時,海旁的海鮮攤檔,入座率約九成。相反,市中心一帶的西餐廳,入座率卻只有約一半。既然不用錦上添花,就支持一下西餐廳,支持一下這家2084吧!OpenRice / 上網搜尋後才知道,原來餐廳好像原本結業了。但最近原班人馬在同一位置重新出發。吃得健康點,點了一個牛扒和一個沙律。牛扒約$100。牛味、質感,恰到好處。這個水平,我認為價錢偏低。如果我是老闆,我的判斷是,就算賣$148,也會能得到群眾支持。沙拉約$80。正常發揮。餐牌還有幾款幾十元的午餐選擇,又平又正。整體而言,這家餐廳很值得去。執筆之時,對那個牛,還念念不忘。下星期再去。

I am not a vegan, nor a vegetarian. In fact I would more regularly describe myself as a carnivore. This vegan Chinese/ Indian fusion restaurant is however mindblowingly good and almost enough to convert me to veganism full time. The menu is varied, fresh, flavoursome, and more than worthy of a pilgrimage to Sai Kung, even for a more typically Central/ Soho hanger outer like myself. Make sure you get the Mushroom “peking duck” and the Szechuan eggplant tacos. Honestly though, everything is delectable and eye opening. Enjoy.

最愛既西貢餐廳— 2084 ! 純素fusion菜,唔使睇成份有冇蛋奶,fully plant- based🥰🥰 仲要好食呀!之前食過一次signature dish - Peking,今次encore。向北京填鴨致敬,用上炸秀珍菇,個醬同北京填鴨醬一樣味。最欣賞塊波浪餅底唔會太脆可以彎曲包返d 菇。挑戰過新鮮大樹菠蘿之後,試吓熟食大樹菠蘿。今次試咖喱大樹菠蘿JACK FRUIT CURRY技 $65(S)/$95(L) . 好鍾意餐廳可以選擇份量。一個人食可以選擇細份。咖喱少辣,夠多汁撈飯。我貪心配左cauliflower rice $40。碗飯好大😜 仲叫左個飲品2084 ALMOND SAFFRON & KAFFIR LIME COOLER$70 。好好味呀,少少酸同咖喱好配。

Modern Vegetarian Fusion food - there are Thai, Indian, British, Spanish food here & it was done well. Their Peking Duck tacos we started with which was quite convincing in its appearance & the sauce was nice.We also had the Pani Puri with aloo Gobi which was also tasty, be warned the portions are big!We had to go for the fish n Chips with the meatless version and great to have such a contrasting meal.It's a chilled restaurant in the main square, will come next time - the menu is enormous too
