朋友带我来食,一入到门口,感觉同楼下既环境非常唔同,这儿高格调好多。我地坐响窗口位,望过对面看见好旧既楼,影响了餐厅既感觉头盘,要了鱼salad,好特别的salad,那些鱼混合了薯仔,好像baby food。主菜,都系要了鱼,原本想要炭烧,但服务员话lemon butter会香味点,好食点。由于服务员极力推介,所以朋友同我都选了lemon butter 。头盘有surprise,主菜就觉得so so服务唔错,服务员会monitor住我地几时食完头盘,至开始煮主菜,所以上菜时,时间热度刚刚好丰富既头盘主菜后有甜点配咖啡。甜点无0羊特别。。。 继续阅读

到生日饭局, 环境不错, 由于时间尚早, 12时许, 十分宁静. 地方布置亦偏向高贵, 绝对是濶太出没的地方.头盘喝了一个豆汤. 味道还可以, 但不是太合中国人口味. 主菜点了羊架加羊脾. 肉质很淋, 不喜欢吃有稣味的人应该很喜欢, 但我却觉得没有羊味. 甜品却教人惊喜. 朱古力雪糕很滑, 很朱, 好像吃朱古力似的. 餐牌上还有不同浓度的味度选择, 爱朱人士必吃. 栗子蓉pan cake好滑, 伴碟的鲜果批差点比主角还要好吃.想不到3 course的法国餐可以吃得饱, 出人意表.本地的侍应比外藉侍应更懂我们local的心意, 由于人小所以服侍都很好. 继续阅读

An upstairs restaurant overlooking LanKwaiFong; with warm and cozy dinning room. On a recent lunch time, we had their lunch sets, our escargots appetizers was a little plain for me, and the fish was a bit overcooked. The rack of lamb my friend had was tender and tasty.Service from the wait staffs was friendly and efficient. We used to be regular customers when Mr. Jean Pierre was the Chef at Cafe des Artistes . After it was moved up to the 1st floor about 3 years ago, tonight was the first time we revisited the restaurant. The new Chef should be highly praised for the outstanding dishes at a very reasonable price. Wine list, compared to good old days, is just mediocre; but they charge only HK$200 for corkage. We will certainly revisit Cafe des Artistes in the future. On the other hand, service does need some fine tuning in order for this potential three stars restaurant to be upgraded. 继续阅读

It's my friend's birthday and she chose French in Central. STARTERSWe start with snail, foie gras, mussels, lobster soup, and onion soup.My foie gras is okay - it's crispy but the flavour was plain. Not the best you can get at this price.Museels is too small....My friends told me that the lobster soup is really good...MAIN COURSEI ordered a bouillabaisse but its completely cold when it was served! I asked for another dish and the chef offered to make me a fresh one. The new dish was okay with lots of fishes and a yappy but only fish. I thought the tradition bouillabaisse will have mussels, prawns, squid and etc.. but again there is no wow factor.My friend's steak is perfectly done. It was cooked next to the table. The duck casserole was surprisingly nice. Its a tradition french dish served in a pot with lots of beans. The duck was very tender and juicy! I would say this was the best dish of the night.The worst thing of the night is the service. The waitress told me she is not familiar with wine and recommended the one that always sold out. The restaurant is obviously understaffed and we were often ignored.If you are expecting a good dinner - Don't go! 继续阅读
