Delaney's Wanchai (已結業)

昨晚世界盃十六強：英格蘭大戰德國一早諗住　book 地方同啲　friend 一齊睇，但接受 book 位的一早已爆滿，呢間就唔使 book， first come first serve.場波十點開波，同個 friend　8點未到已到，得返兩三張枱，大部份是外藉人士，氣氛唔錯，雖然大部份是英格蘭　fans，但都見到少量德國 fans，大家都好和平．由於未開場，電視直播 espn　F.1．　叫啲嘢食，叫咗一個 smoked salmon ＋salad 同　個　Sirloin steak burger，味道唔錯同幾抵食 ($5x & $9x). 睇波當然唔少得飲啤酒，kilkenny 係呢度都多人飲，每人叫咗一杯，不過味道偏淡，下次可以飲 guinness.雖然最後英格蘭大敗　1:4，全場都無精打彩，但正如坐旁邊的德國人所講，the best team win the game !　

Midweek dinner meet with a friend over pub food. Having been educated overseas, we thought it'd be a good idea to reminisce some overseas food such as a pie, fish and chips and beer. 二月上旬‧晴還未有工作在身的日子，每天最繁重的事，除了文字工作，就是周圍收風，是日約了朋友，在這裡喝一杯，順手探探行情。這裡的生啤選擇不少，但是日想喝健力士。夠凍，那股微帶苦澀的啤酒味道，真的幾配合此時的心情。還有舖面那層幼滑的泡沫，喝到最後，還有薄薄一層的。歡樂時光，價錢是49元一杯，兩口喝盡，再來一杯。資料已收得七七八八，應該是要決定的時候。

人物：馮生，彭生，Cheese and M錯有錯著黎左哩間午餐，食物都唔錯，但招呼就一般喇，要大粒頭先至好招呼。餐湯－露荀湯：都幾好飲。主菜－有三款俾你揀選，兩個要魚，兩個要牛扒。煎魚柳同配菜都配合都唔錯，好好食。牛扒有些少靭身，配菜任你配搭，食到個肚漲住走。如果唔要餐湯或小食就可以要甜品－pudding。餐飲－熱檸茶：不過不失喇！

I am now on a second burger craving since last year. At Delaney’s I have tried almost everything, from roast, fish and chips, Irish pancakes, and now the Veggie Burger.Served with potato wedges, or Jacket potato, the Veggie patty is coated in fine breadcrumbs, with mashed bits of broccoli, potato, slight cheese, and carrot shreds.When it came, the patty looked huge, due to a pocket of hot air that expanded during the process of being deep-fried. 5月8日（星期五）晚，和一眾食友吃完晚飯後，我和女友未有跟隨他們去吃甜品，因為我倆祇想找個地方坐下來，靜靜地互訴心事。行過附近多間的pub，每間都有很多人，而且大多播放著強勁的音樂，並不適合我們。我們行到這裡，樓下一樣是坐滿人客，有位waitress就叫我們上一樓，發覺比樓下寧靜得多，於是入內就坐。原先我們想坐在角落位，但這裡的waitress笑笑口說我們可以不用坐得那麼迫，我們就一同坐在倚著梳化的位子。因為已經吃過晚飯，所以祇點了兩杯飲品，我點了一杯House Red，女友就點了杯Strawberry Daiquiri。我的House Red 是來自澳洲的Shiraz，初時入口頗酸，讓它breath了一會，才易於入口；女友的Strawberry Daiquiri，賣相很美觀，十分似magarita，原來杯邊的是糖霜而不是粗鹽，無論酒味和士多啤梨的味道都不重，應該適合女士。其實飲品是其次，最重要的是找個不是太吵的地方，可以讓我倆靜靜地訴說彼此的憂慮，把心裡的困擾說了出來，感覺真的好像輕鬆了！

星期二約了前同事晚膳，由於有兩位同事要收夜，故約了 9 時。先前當然是啤番一杯。要了 amber 和 gold 唔知乜乜的樽裝啤，兩者味道不太佳，入口淡過生力啤；跟著多要了一杯 kilkenny，總覺得這裡拉的 kilkenny 生啤冇咁順喉，泡沫亦不夠細滑，而且啤酒比先前飲開的淡口。期間還要了一客薯角，份量超巨，用上新薯炸，外脆內軟，薯味甚濃。埋單發現最貴原來係炸薯角，真係估佢唔到。

This is my regular stop for sunday lunch any day, roast meat/poultry sliced for you at the carvery.The roast includes a soup/salad, and a drink. The salad is self service, at the salad bar, ranging from unpickled beetroot to potato salad.As for the roast, it has to be collected yourself, but you can pick and have what ever vegetable you want. not only is this a good place for drinks with friends, the food here is also quite good.had roast beef for lunch today. it had a hint of pink on the inside, just the way i like it. gravy is of right consistency and flavorful. i recommend their tuna melt sandwich too. the bread is nice toasted, which they usually do. you can always ask the server to toast (not not) the bread.personally i think the portion size is just right, which means it is bigger than the usual 'HK' expectation. staff is frien

兜兜轉轉,我們的主場,始終回到去迪蘭尼.一眾球迷朋友在Delaney,s坐埋的原因,不用多說.每逢利物浦市打比大戰,圍內的藍色派系成員,定會出來聚一聚.邊喝啤酒邊同己隊打氣.其他日子,還是留在家中看直播.樓下永遠轉播著我們一知半解的欖球,看足球就要上樓上.相比之下沒有很多酒客聚集.氣氛沒有那麼熱烈.開波之時,樓上仍未坐滿.很久沒有喝健力士生啤,開早場時間仍是歡樂時光.泡沫香滑,味道甘且順喉.在愛爾蘭酒館喝愛爾蘭國寶,想起又是理所當然.因球賽後要回公司,一杯起兩杯止.其他友人未吃飯,叫些肉批,炸魚薯條等pub food.這店除一味Lamb Stew吃得過之外,其他食物真的麻麻.己隊延續開季的頹勢.主場表現不濟,短短幾分鐘連輸兩球,完全沒有還擊之力.手上的健力士,越喝越苦.今場之後,小弟正式大聲宣佈:{費蘭度托里斯,我同你勢不兩立!}

Although expensive, the roast is the best.A wide range of vegs, varying from spinach, roast potatoes, carrots, sprouts, cauliflower, brocoli. An amazing plateful of your chosen veg.Finally to the the roast, its either beef or roast of the day.The Yorkshire pudding is just as good with lots of gravy to soak it up. a table of nearly 20 on the first floor, the xmas music was played, the tree was there, the staff were helpful.wide range of selections on the menu, the roast was typically english. i ordered a lamb fillet and it was tender. the cookies and cream mocktail was huge for a lunch but i social this way instead of beer.the xmas pudding was not everyone's favourite but everyone enjoyed their time. i actuali quite like this restaurant and is planning to visit again some other lunch

大家睇到這個"迪蘭尼"食評,無須多講,又是一大班球迷相聚的日子.現今Now TV將英超一場不漏地播送,如非大賽,也不會出來睇波.這一夜- Merseyside Derby,十多個愛華頓球迷朋友,又再霸佔店方上層某張長檯.歡樂時光未完,法蘭西生啤Kronenbourg也是大約$40一杯,入口順喉.上次吃小吃,Lamp Stew,今次獨食,來個大堆頭Mushroom Pie.以薯仔沙律伴之,感覺很肥膩.不過英倫三島的傳統菜式,一向熱量高.美味稱不上,但一定吃得你飽.吃著個Pie,看著大銀幕的比賽,本來勝算甚高....半小時之內,由天堂跌落地獄,長笛一吹,全場鴉雀無聲,相對無言.....

傻鬼帶我食愛爾蘭菜...決定去灣仔此店試下2個人一入去已經覺得d人唔多禮貌..同佢講話book左位都可以講埋名時間都死要問你sure唔sure呀唔sure都無所謂; 當晚好多空位...跟住2個人就叫左個lamb stew+fish & chips+2杯coke先來過bread basket先..不過d麵包絕對可以不食凍冰冰...跟住來過fish & chips簡直我至愛...只可惜d炸魚用太多粉漿啦同埋炸得過左火, 比較硬身..不過佢地既薯條同埋個醬汁就非常好食.最後個lamb stew都上埋係用大麵包上既, 所以都非常飽肚..個羊都幾"so'下...不過煮得夠淋啖啖肉啦都係一句..佢地既服務真係非常唔好..不過最後發現佢地無服務都岩..因為佢地係無收加一..所以我地當然唔會俾任何服務費佢地啦...
