a table of nearly 20 on the first floor, the xmas music was played, the tree was there, the staff were helpful.wide range of selections on the menu, the roast was typically english. i ordered a lamb fillet and it was tender. the cookies and cream mocktail was huge for a lunch but i social this way instead of beer.the xmas pudding was not everyone's favourite but everyone enjoyed their time. i actuali quite like this restaurant and is planning to visit again some other lunch
