Penhaligon’s x Ebb & Flow Festive Afternoon Tea at The Park Lane Hong Kong, a Pullman Hotel 🎄🌮SAVOURIES🐚Scallop Ceviche & Guacamole with Baguette Toast: A slight fishy smell and was a bit spicy🦞 Lobster Thermidor & Caviar Brioche with Micro Herbs: Lobster Thermidor was rich in flavour with a slight dash of caviar aroma🥪Black Truffle Toast with Black Forest Ham, Emmental Cheese & Truffle Mayo: One of my favourite treats, loved the cheesy taste 🍬SWEETS🍊Grapefruit Mousse & Vanilla Hazelnut Streusel in Glass: Refreshing flavours. Would be better if the Streusel could be a bit more crunchy 🍊Bergamot Mousse Dome Orange Almond Cake: Loved the citrus flavours and was not too dense 🍋Lemon Choux Rose Cream: Another tangy dessert that was very refreshing and not too sweet 🍵Jasmine Napoleon: Had a strange savoury pastry smell but the actual taste was fine. Would be better if the Jasmine flavours can stand out a bit more 🎄Baked Gingerbread and Homemade Rose Scone with Clotted Cream and Jam: The gingerbread had a strange texture like melted meringue. Scone had nice rose flavours ☕️DRINKS🫖LUNA Tea (Jasmine Tea, Dried Rose, Orange, Lemon, Honey): A very nice tea what was very aromatic. Each afternoon tea set comes with a complimentary trial set of Luna Body & Hand Wash and Luna Body & Hand Lotion🧴 A nice afternoon spent and enjoy the whole afternoon without disturbance. The quantity of treats were comparatively less than other afternoon tea sets.

Ebb and Flow released their spring afternoon tea and since it is berry based, I decided to try it.The Spring Blossom and Fruit Tea offered was really good even though I am a coffee person. I preferred the Spring Moon and we could choose not to add honey.The afternoon tea is served and the taste was lovely. The berry based desserts are on the tarty side but I enjoyed it a lot. However, after the finishing the afternoon tea, I was just not hungry yet I actually had a ramen just an hour ago. Maybe one extra scone would be enough.

The food & atmosphere are wonderful. It gives off a warm vibe. Unfortunately for the staff who works hard, the supervisor on duty was rude & bossy. She would avoid attending customers & look for a waitress who is already busy to attend customers so you can imagine the overall service is below average.It’s a pity because service is one of the essential elements of an eatery inside a hotel.

昨天在中央图书馆上完堂,下午放假休息下。就去咗这𥚃叹下,没有期望之下,就有少少惊喜!向女部长示意一个人,已经一路带我入坐,仲有两个 table 比我选择,我当然选择靠墙不当眼位置啦!坐下即刻问我食饭抑或饮嘢?为的是预备餐具,并递上温水和 iPad menu,隔了一阵子就走过来问我想食咩?服务不错👍🏻!我点了豚肉生姜配日本饭,头盆有餐汤(薯仔汤)和沙律选择,因为我不吃 cheese, 问沙律可否走芝士👍🏻,侍应说可以,于是头盆叫沙律。 点餐后,送上面包牛油,吃完后,递上蔬菜沙律🥗,好新鲜!主菜送上,有少少惊喜!明明叫豚肉生姜烧,点解有一碟蔬菜天妇罗嘅?仲要皮薄松脆好好味!豚肉生姜烧都好味,肉片不太肥,姜片少咗啲,有好多大蒜,好入味!吃吧!送上至爱嘅黑咖啡,慢慢休息叹下!
