上星期六跟女友去參加婚宴,之前梗係要先醫肚la,女友話想食kebab,就走入去呢度試吓。幾個月前曾經嚟食過一次lunch,感覺幾好。一進入店,竟然見到全店都係阿星(店員加顧客),好攪笑^_^叫咗羊肉及雞肉串燒kebab,再加一個炸洋葱餅。個羊肉女友話幾羶,因佢唔係幾食得羊羶味,我又覺得唔太羶wor..個雞肉串燒就太乾,乾到無乜汁,味道全來自D沙律醬,麻麻地...炸洋葱餅表皮炸得過火,有D燶,但入面D料就幾多,有非常重嘅香料味,不錯。不過不失,志在"質"飽個肚la..

話說星期五lunch time擺脫o左古縮老闆同發臭同事飯局之後,放lunch當然第一時間去朝聖。今次對象係人見人讚o既羊肉卡巴。一到步已見到好多印度鄉里係度食緊,唔係呢度la!是次試o左唔辣羊肉卡巴,好大碌。論分量,麥記D烤餅完全要彈開;講味道,食得出呢到用o左唔少香料黎醃,羊肉唔會so,亦都好入味。唯獨是d生洋荵真係好大陣味,食完好內都唔散,o下。。。。聞下幾大陣味!另外可能自己唔太鍾意個醬,totally middle east.佢唯一唔可以打低麥記o既係價錢,閒閒地都要$40一個lunch,我都覺得貴。嘩!d鄉里咁富貴呀?好彩今次買外賣食,因為一路食一路跌,都幾leah hea.

Came across with this long heard outlet today with my sis who's a fan of kebab, grabbed a mix kebab with chicken n lamb for lunch, both chicken n lamb were tender enuff yet the souce was yet to improve, maybe it's adjusted to a milder taste to suit hongkongers without much herbs and spices added to it, n the size was definitely not the standard one as you would see across europe (at more or less the same price). But i guess this would be a better choice for a quick bite besides the junks u get in chains.

吃完魚柳包,意猶未盡,走過鄰舖看看有甚麼好吃,見到有雜菜角和洋蔥餅,本來兩樣都想試,但驚吃不下,最後只要了洋蔥餅。洋蔥餅事先已炸過,待有客order再翻炸,單是這一點已扣晒分,洋蔥餅用紅洋蔥、洋蔥和薯仔弄成,再加上大量香料,吃完條好辛苦,no next time!!

讀書時都幾喜歡食kebab,總比漢堡包好吃,但kebab吃到最後是很狼狽的 - 餡擠哂出包外,醬汁菜汁不免流到手上...

去Joe Banana 前食晚餐, bf同我都突然好想食kebab, 就o係依渡食啦~ bf 要chicken kebab + mild chilli sauce + garlic sauce + extra cheese~ 我要lamb kebab + extra cheese同兩隻sauce (唔記得)~ 好明顯雞肉嫩滑好多~ 但羊肉都唔錯, 夠騷~ 之後lunch都走番o黎依度食, bf仲打孖上o添~ BBQ sauce唔錯喎~ 環境.... 好細間o既快餐店囉, 因為店細坐得好辛苦, 同埋d檯都幾烏糟, d人多數外賣~** 記住叫佢地焗耐d個餅皮, 唔夠脆唔夠熱唔好食o架~

I was not a big fan for Kebab before, since few months ago when I visited my friend in the States. He took me to a turkey restaurant, very small place...with a few tables outdoor. I was very impressed with it; we had falafel, which is a deep fried vegetarian Lebanese patty, like other kebabs served in pita bread with veggie. It was outstanding... so, since my returned, I have been looking for places to serve kebab. Fortunately, I have seen a few from Openrice..and have read all the comment

so, since my returned, I have been looking for places to serve kebab. Fortunately, I have seen a few from Openrice..and have read all the comments from some of you here...Gourmet KC, ShadowMoon..etc. Went there yesterday, I was at Kebab Kebab first but they don't have Falafel, so I left and went to Ebeneeezer, glad they have what I want, for the dressing, I picked yogurt garlic + mild chili….I have no complain about the food, it taste very similar as the one I had in the States, only hope that the pita bread could be hotter then it would be even better! $45 comes with a drink….ate half..and saved the other half for my supper!!
P.S. Oh...like many other Kebab shops, expect to stand and eat there or to go.
Kebab Kebab has more selections and more dining area, I took their delivery menu at the door, see they have some seafood / vegetarian (because I don't eat lamb) I will try them next time. And am looking forward to try the one in L.K.F. and the one in TST too.

睇o左GourmetKC o既食評後, 一定要試o下'E記' o的卡巴有幾好味. 今日終於有機會...羊肉卡巴($45): 佢地又係用'doner kebab' 個名, 但賣o既其實係'shawarma' (羊肉/雞肉片疊起一塊塊成為'loaf'狀;而正統o既doner kebab 就同o係「卡巴卡巴」賣o既一樣,用免治羊肉o黎堆成loaf).話雖如此, o的羊肉片烤得恰到好處, 夠嫩又多汁, 醃得又幾入味; 又多醬料選擇, 我選o左蒜蓉,薄荷同埋大香辣汁, 配得好好味! 下次要試o下芝麻醬(tahini)睇o下掂唔掂.唯一美中不足o既係價錢, 45蚊一個卡巴(唔包飲品)都幾貴(雖然lunch時段有35蚊o既'細碼'選擇), 但好在份量都夠飽肚, 而且又多鬼佬光顧(前面就係駱克道o既酒吧區), 水準一定保持番咁上下. 正所謂一分錢一分貨, 與其食「意大利噹拿屋」o個o的平到低劣不堪o既噹拿,不如俾多小小o係呢間或者隔一兩條街o既「卡巴卡巴」好過.P.S. 下次有機會就試埋雞肉卡巴,Falafel同埋Moussaka先再評. ^_^

好多時飲到一肚水都想食D野落肚,呢度賣的卡巴有多種選擇,首選當然是羊肉卡巴,烤羊肉夠香口,加上生洋蔥及蕃茄幾好食,有成十款醬汁,個人最喜歡hot chilli及薄荷汁,很惹味。想食清D可叫希臘雜菜沙律,多款材料如生菜、洋蔥、青瓜、蕃茄等,仲有一舊舊feta cheese,食落幾特別。不過要快吃,因為材料會出水,擺耐左賣相同味道都唔係咁好。卡巴連沙律45蚊唔算平,但夜麻麻可以食到好味的卡巴都唔錯。

我一向好miss 英國成日都食的kebab, 灣仔這間都好外賣店feel, 只有幾個位, 而店內的兩個人係indian, 真係好似返英國咁.我只叫了個細的donar $35. 有7 種sauce, 我當然choose 最authentic 的chili , 佢有分幾種chili, mild 其實巳經好勁. 最重要的係好好食. 一定要試.
