I went there on Friday night with my boyfriend. The restaurant was quiet with only couple tables occupied. We ordered the semi-buffet dinner with roasted chicken. Oyster and sashimi come with the combo. The buffet has salad, shrimp, smoked salmon, one soup, fried fish, skewed chicken, salami. There are also four dessert and fruit at buffet table.Buffet choices are not great and the taste is just so so. I didn't feel that the oyster sashimi were fresh. Same as the shrimps at the buffet table. The creamy pumpkin soup was on the light side, not very creamy and cannot taste much pumpkin. My boyfriend ordered the roasted chicken as the main course. He did not like it and thought it need to be cooked a bit longer. We were dessert lovers, but the dessert didn’t impress us either. Cheesecake was moisture and more like mouse cake. I like the fried fish and smoked salmon. They had good flavors.When the bill came, it was more expensive than I thought. The hot lemon water cost $28 and the still water cost $68. 萝卜糕白切鸡焖冬菇南乳粗斋横财就手发财好事年年有余................家族成员众多,从小到大新年菜式常是九至十碗头,看得眼花撩乱,味道丰腴,不过一连几天的假期,多吃了味蕾也闷滞起来,更莫谈年年如是,当大厨的妈妈或许也闷坏了!机缘巧合发现了 「Genius」推出的农历年菜单,不太爱西菜的爸爸妈妈、这回新年可有新意思了!International Sashimi and Seafood Salad  捞起先捞起这意头菜来自马来西亚和星加坡,而「Genius」的捞起先,在用料方面却别出心裁,特别采用了亚拉斯加蟹肉、三文鱼、带子、北寄贝、大虾、海带、法国鸭胸,还有中式的麻香木耳和海蜇鸡丝,令口感更加立体,味道既清新又惹味,令人欲捞多几捞「番寻味」。Lobster and Egg White Angel Hair  龙虾天使赛螃蟹龙虾是我所爱,不过天使面则非我所爱,一爱与一不爱,究竟效果会如何?入口天使面没有过腍的通病,反而嚼劲甚佳,挂上顺滑轻怡的赛螃蟹汁和龙虾肉,鲜甜的龙虾肉与赛螃蟹汁似是浑然天成的配搭,加上纤幼的天使面,散发出温柔的风韵,这中西合璧之作肯定能对得上老人家的口味!Double Boiled Sea Whelk and Black Chicken with Wolf Berries  准山杞子螺头炖乌鸡卖相绝对西方,可是盖子一打开时,魔法便出来了。香气浓得化不开,汤头厚重,汤温滚烫,细呷一口,甜韵与香气极为浓缩,因此味道丰美过人。原来汤盅内是中式的准山杞子螺头炖乌鸡汤,对于一向爱汤的我,简直是大快朵颐,只盼可再添一碗这美味兼滋补养颜之物!Crispy Chrysandthemum with Braised Whole Abalone  脆菊大网鲍鲍鱼不单矜贵、具吉兴之意,「Genius」的脆菊大网鲍更是艺术的结晶。花瓣炸好后,逐块手工砌合,形成栩栩如生的菊花,手工极之精细,就连菜心也富线条美感,将鲍鱼衬托得美妙绝仑。菊花香脆,菜心爽口,鲍鱼焖煮得弹牙入味,带微酸的鲍汁,更能除去鲍鱼一贯的滞意!Wagyu Beef Cheek  36小时慢煮和牛面颊肉色泽深浓的牛面颊肉,经 36小时慢煮后,软腍得几乎入口即溶,香浓的红酒汁彷佛深深渗入每一个面颊细胞似的,非常人味。至于旁边的薯蓉、珍珠洋葱和车厘茄等也来得美味,伴菜给牛面颊带来一点点平衡。Golden Snow  杨枝甘露豆腐花来到甜品的环节。侍应将鲜黄夺目的杨枝甘露豆腐花端上,份量可不少。爽甜的甘柚随著软滑的豆腐花送进嘴巴,一爽一滑,加上鲜香的芒果汁和果肉,味道清新、香气怡人。平日不太爱甜的我,遂将整碗豆腐花吃得一干二净!最后还送上咖啡或茶。「Genius」将西菜揉合东方元素的创新意念,完美地发挥亦中亦西的菜式,由菜式演绎出中国人过年的好意头,不单没有不伦不类之感,味道与卖相亦同时打破局限,无论成人或小童、老少亦咸宜,今年就让我们的伙头将军好好休息,尝一下新味儿来! 继续阅读

临近年尾正系朋友聚会嘅大好时机,但一班人吃饭总系各有意见,难以选择聚会地点,所以一家菜式选择丰富,质素又上佳的餐厅,绝对系解决烦恼的帮手。前几日我地就揾到个好去处,位于观塘骏业街的“Genius”,间餐厅以多国菜、海鲜、无肉餐单、西餐及露天茶座为卖点!最近仲推出半自助餐,供应多款海鲜、沙律、糕点、水果等,而餐厅亦奉送刺身及即开生蚝。真系啱晒贵精唔贵多嘅我哋!冷盘海鲜:大虾爽脆啖啖肉,好鲜甜,青口肉质嫩滑无渣,味道鲜美,翡翠螺爽甜弹牙!沙律,甜品,冻品,炸物小食一应俱全!鱼生刺身:有三文鱼、日本雪鲷鱼、北寄贝、甜虾,每款皆新鲜甜美!法国生蚝,入口爽甜,蚝味软浓,甜美中带点少少的海水味!主菜就系呢个烧烤拼盘:有烧菠萝,粟米,羊架,大虾,鸡亦,肠仔,叉烧,砌得精致,但有少少㶶!羊架腌得够入味,唔膻又好香羊肉味,大虾烧得肉汁保留,爽甜多肉,烧菠萝、粟米好甜,食到宜家巳经好饱啦,其他就由朋友黎解决! 继续阅读

昨晚去观塘 Genius经过见到有半自助晚餐,就上去试下。太好啦,唔洗等位,原来昨晚系第一日搞半自助晚餐。坐低先送鱼生碟,同即开生蚝(真系即开架)食物选择当然唔够自助餐咁多种类,但绝对新鲜。冷盘冻虾;螺;青口… (新鲜)多款沙律菜 (爽脆既)烟三文鱼、杂冻肉盘 3款仲有的好少系自助餐见到既冷盘,不过我忘记左系咩~不过佢汤类就得一款,昨晚系 “” 好好饮,好cream,我仲饮左 2 碗不得不提,佢果度的面包好似系佢地自己整既,仲要记得试佢既牛油呀,佢的牛油唔似平时系街食果的咁,牛油味重的架。而热盘就是系得3款,炸薯角外脆内软;盬烧多春鱼;春卷。食够前半part就叫主菜啦,主菜好似有6款我地就拣左澳洲M9和牛同扒大虾,水准高。饱到餐茶都唔饮啰。扒大虾唔会过老。另外个碟咪有黄色既伴碟,薯蓉离架,好滑好滑呀~M9和牛有肉汁。最后就食个甜品,极推介食牛奶布丁,滑嘟嘟~ 继续阅读

近圣诞节日去西餐厅无book位,本来有点担心无位,点知下午一点上到Genius还有大量吉台(约超过一半),心知不妙了...坐低打开menu,价钱都唔平....我拣咗茄汁鸭胸天使面+餐饮(Coffee/Tea)$88无汤, 无面包, 无前菜, 无甜品仲要另收加一, 埋单要$97其实好味贵d我也不介意但整体味道只是一般也不够热...份量仲要好小真系超唔抵law...应无下次..... 继续阅读
