Came here for lunch on a weekday with a friend since we both craved some quality sushi. The restaurant is very spacious compared to the other surrounding restaurants. We made a reservation so we got seated right away. We both decided to go with the lunch set menu which had 3 set choices($180-220 each set. My friend went with set A and I had set B. Set A came with minced toro over rice, assorted sashimi and tobiko and uni over rice. Set B came with tonkatsu over rice, sashimi over rice, and eel o
The food wasnt as tasty as it looks to me. My favorite out of all is the sashimi over rice since I can tell it was fresh. The tonkatsu was also very good. The crust was Krispy and the meat was tender but it's typical tonkatsu that I've had before. The eel over rice was the worst out of the three. It was chewy and the sauce was too salty for my taste. The soba and the steamed egg wasn't so great either. The soba was too over cooked and it lagged flavor. The steamed egg was also overcooked so it wasn't as smooth as it should be. Surprisingly I really enjoyed their salad bar. Everything was fresh and appealing that I wanted another bowl. There's also enough variety of dressings to choose from! Overall the meal was acceptable. I didn't like how much rice was served with everything. There was basically 3 bowl of rice with different toppings. I thought that was too heavy for a lunch set along with the noodle. But one thing this meal makes u feel is FANCY. I feel like I'm eating at some royal palace with so many dishes in front of me. The set up of the lunch set definitely makes you want to come back. I hope they can improve on the quality of the food though.
