This place's prices are JACKED. I mean 134 HKD for two bottles of Evian? Are you kidding me?! What other place in the world does this? The hamptons, boutique hotels, the Jinan airport--- uggggh. But those are place you already know just to get tap water and in Hong Kong you can't exactly order "tap" water because you'll probably suffer from drinking it.Their food was very pretty, presentation here is just fabulous. I love that they bring the Pho out to you with raw beef on top and then pour the broth over it at the table. It just made my mouth water. And although the broth had a delightfully clean flavor--- it got pretty boring. They didn't bring out any limes or hot sauce/peppers unless you asked for it, it was missing a lot of key flavors.I wouldn't come back here on my own volition.

This place is always a clean choice of vietnamese food among all the other rather dirty and crowded vietnamese restaurants in central.we didnt order the set lunch. it turns out the a la carte menu provides rather large portion of dishes.the springrolls were nicely done. particularly the lettuce that looked more like a little pot of plaint.the chicken salad was a little spicy and way too big.the noodles were very nice but also way too big. we did not finish the salad and the noodles. a little waste.

朋友有一大叠兰桂芳集团餐饮食券,上回与一大班人造访尽兴而返;今回他返英在即,决定再访用尽余下食券。七时入坐,餐厅只有一台人客。头盘是Rice paper rolls with shrimps, pork and herbs: 粉皮薄、烟韧; 咬落爽脆,口感多层次亦非常丰富,还有香茅的poignance,不用点附上的薄荷酱汁也吃得满足。朋友的Halong Bay Spicy Seafood Soup,他的评语是"hearty";我的露荀蟹肉汤,也是满满的一大碗蟹肉撕成丝,露荀却是罐头的,淋淋的,饮著吃著不说也不知是露荀。主菜之一的monkfish是两条fillet,各面舖著heavy的酸味酱。鱼肉"鞋口",而且不容易撕开/切开;另外的lamp chops,朋友评为油腻、肥肉太多、花生酱与其格格不入,四件只干掉三件。还有炒seasonal vegetables,以菜心为主,胜在炒得不油腻,味道就是屋企煮好味。服务、环境无懈可击(但八时后人多,就开始嘈吵); 菜上得太快,主菜未吃到一半我们已捧著肚皮。 朋友commented:若这是他首次经验,他不会考虑再来。对我来说,却是经验新鲜、不俗的一餐,在此谢过。

原先去楼下西餐厅,但在无心插柳下食越南菜。朋友说以前如没有预先订位情况,一定没有的,现时经济不好,位子多的是。先奉上一兜炸虾片,少试一角,很口脆,如果有男士在场,一定食清。有几款不同价钱的午餐选择,不太合胃口,索性散叫。越式炒金边粉-入口淡而无味,朋友说与以前两码子的事,立即投诉要求转另一款。最后换了越式炒饭,这个截然不同,虽然材料简单,只有鸡蛋、扎肉等,姜味很浓而重,饭身不油粒粒干身。生牛肉河-汤底淡淡的,牛肉又是嚡嚡的,河粉虽幼细通透,但口感很粗糙,同意kc所讲完全唔掂。幸好的是我要的是细碗,吃剩不算多。炒杂菜-很斋的感觉,全碟清绿素色,一点鲜艳颜色也没有,很难吸引食欲。这碟"青"菜与炒饭价值只差$3。其实价钱唔贵,环境也不错,不过算十分好食,如果食越南菜有更好的选择。

Very good food and good amount for the price.Each set comes with many different dishes, each individual dish is small but good amount and all together gives a great opportunity to try many different kinds of dishes without gorging on any invidual one. In general all of the dishes were very light and refreshing with refreshing taste, would definitely go again. Only one thing: avoid the curry, it was a sour spot on an otherwise great lunch.
