是次吃到這麼多名貴巧克力,絕對是因爲公司送來的禮盒。公司送贈,不知道算不算試食呢🤪不過肯定公司用了不少錢買哦!員工可真不少的!這盒巧克力,名字可不知道。不過味道不錯的,外脆內軟,不過只是非常少脆,不要想像成脆皮雪條的模樣哦。這瓶是聖誕限定吧,分別有牛奶巧克力 和 黑巧克力。牛奶朱古力很滑很好吃!黑朱古力估計70%左右吧!這個小蛋糕有兩個口味,一個是普通奶油味,中間沒有餡料。巧克力口味的比較好吃,中間有巧克力醬!總結:不問也知道價格昂貴,不過味道卻說不上要付上這個價格哦!

朱古力真的另人開心,週末下午茶來一個全朱古力宴。城中最出名的朱古力店在銅鑼灣利園有間cafe, 人流不多,可坐得舒適寧靜。CaracasFull bodied 朱古力,杰身濃稠,口感順滑,最重要不是過甜,朱古力控一定大満足。另加了兩個,macaron, 一件係人氣之選朱古力味,由外到內都是朱古力,勁香。另一件是季節限定passion fruit味,但我一點都食唔到passion fruit 味道,少少失望,勝在造型搭夠。

今天早了出到銅鑼灣等男友,還有半小時,銅鑼灣人多車多,想找個好些的位置靜靜坐下等下也不容易。假日的下午5時多6時,咖啡室也滿人多擠吵的。看到這裡環境開掦座位舒適,坐下飲一杯咖啡。店員十分友善的介紹有下午茶套餐,但只限熱飲,我想飲凍的,而且又不想吃太飽,只叫了一杯朱古力品嚐。******************************Chocolate Guayaquil (8/10)這杯是Guayaquil 帶有雲尼拿味道,甜濃不封喉,打得濃厚帶有泡沫,沒有多餘冰塊,不會飲到後來變淡。在銅鑼灣沒地方去又想休閒一下可以去試試看。

難得年三十放半日假,梗係去食個甜品獎勵下自己啦~  今次去試La Maison既Hot Chocolate,共有兩款,都係Dark Chocolate,正合我心意。 揀左Guayaquil (smooth dark chocolate lightly infused with vanilla),由於堂食已滿,所以就帶走了,幸好利園出面都有坐位供細嘗。拎住隻杯已經聞到陣陣既可可香,令人好期待~  用支棒略為攪拌一下時會發現這個hot chocolate質感較杰身,感覺好特別,真係feel到熱融成塊dark chocolate,就似心太軟個流心一樣,好rich好感動! 雖然vanilla味唔強,但dark chocolate濃郁得來又唔會苦,味道恰到好處呢~  要注意係第一口飲落去好熱,大家要小心d。從上圖可以看出其質感,如果仔細睇仲可以睇到一層薄薄的油,簡直係看得到的肥...算啦就當節日慶祝(放縱)下~ 聽朋友講有好幾間店都係以熱融朱古力既做法,老實講未必個個中意,但對於朱古力怪(包括我)黎講就超perfect啦!飲左大約四份三已經覺飽,所以與其話係飲品,我更覺得佢係一個甜品,係整個下午

用支棒略為攪拌一下時會發現這個hot chocolate質感較杰身,感覺好特別,真係feel到熱融成塊dark chocolate,就似心太軟個流心一樣,好rich好感動!
雖然vanilla味唔強,但dark chocolate濃郁得來又唔會苦,味道恰到好處呢~
 要注意係第一口飲落去好熱,大家要小心d。

飲左大約四份三已經覺飽,所以與其話係飲品,我更覺得佢係一個甜品,係整個下午茶既份量。
 $55黎講呢個質素唔算貴~ 怕太膩既朋友建議可伴水果飲 / 直頭當佢chocolate fondue咁點落去食,可能又會係另一番風味呢!

同柑太係銅鑼灣逛街街,行到好倦時,佢提議去利園呢一間朱古力甜品店小休,原來佢有得堂食,相信係咁多間分店唯一一間。有得堂食自然要加一啦,但可以寧靜舒服的環境放鬆一下,區區加一算得上甚麼呢。點了一杯熱朱古力,好好坐下來等待,到店員為我們獻上後,我們便細心品嘗一下。熱朱古力($55)沒有特別講明是那裡產地的朱古力,但第一眼的感覺就像在做朱古力甜品便,把朱古力塊加熱溶解的情況,我不是喝朱古力,我是吃朱古力啊。入口的第一感覺便是真真正正在吃朱古力,濃得滿口充滿朱古力的微微苦澀,但又很快變成了一份甘味,最後的微細而柔長的朱古力濃度,那份小確幸讓人切切實實感受到。每一口喝下的不是朱古力那樣簡單,而是一份讓身體回復能量,讓精神放鬆的大毒物啊。熱騰騰的朱古力,讓你無法一口氣將它喝光,但反而能令你每口細味品嚐,而愈近杯底,濃厚的澀味愈見沉重,但早前已經適應了,到最後可以完全將那份苦完全承受,那反而可以喝到苦中的那種獨特的朱古力味來。

入口的第一感覺便是真真正正在吃朱古力,濃得滿口充滿朱古力的微微苦澀,但又很快變成了一份甘味,最後的微細而柔長的朱古力濃度,那份小確幸讓人切切實實感受到。每一口喝下的不是朱古力那樣簡單,而是一份讓身體回復能量,讓精神放鬆的大毒物啊。

I ordered caramel cake, eclairs and various of delicate chocolate. The best favour is Andalousie, with dark ganache inside and come with a sharp but delicate lemon favour. To satify gourmet, the shop should also considered selling tea. It’s a bit plodding with no tea come with all these exquisite desserts. Other than this, the service was a tragedy. The introdution made by staff sound unprofessional, as well as their behaviour. They used bare hand to grab chocolates --- staffs took them out gent

When customers went into a luxury shop, they always have higher expectation towrards sevice quality than food quality. I would visit La maison du chocolat again, but not this branch.

週六中午時份於銅鑼灣逛街,碰巧遇上契媽,見距離午飯時間尚有成個鐘,我地就決定入去利園搵個地方坐低飲杯野,聯繫一吓感情。正當小肥四周喺度搵緊個水牌時,契媽已經指出商場下層中央好似有間咖啡店,二話不說更落埋去探個究竟。原來大堂中央o既散座係側旁間法國朱古力店「La Maison du Chocolat」提供,地方光亮簡潔,感覺都好衛生。由於梳化櫈較矮,所以我地最終選擇咗坐較高身o既四人方形餐桌,舒適闊落啲。當日店舖有兩位美少女助陣,長髮姐姐面相較兇,唔多好惹,短髮姐姐則不但樣子清純友善,而且仲好有耐性地為我地續一介紹不同飲品o既特色,細心又有禮(嘻嘻,下圖可見契媽及短髮美少女之背影)。食客可享用店內各色各樣o既朱古力甜品及飲料,不過因為好快就到食晏時候,我兩結果都只係每人叫咗杯涷朱古力飲就算。Cold Chocolate Caracas($69):杯涷朱古力就好似短髮美少女推介咁香濃醇厚,口中o既甜絲絲猶如跟情人正在談戀愛般,每喝下一口,臉上都會自然流露出笑顏!如此美味,$69卻只有一細杯,莫非法國名牌子就不能慷慨點嗎?!

前陣子抽到 La Maison du Chocolat 的優惠卷, 令我當天可扮一扮貴婦嚟到利園呢到名店林立的商場中high一high tea這家店的坐位行少, 只有10多人的位置, 我到達的時候剛好有人離開, 就可唔洗等位, 去選擇我的茶點了半圓的Chocolate dome 非常吸引眼球, 外層包著濃厚軟身的朱古力, 內層夾著vanilla creme brûlée, 質地細清, 入口像mousse cake, 甜中帶苦, 少少的一個蛋糕, 甜度卻令你一啖一小口, 可以嘆好耐咁Rich 既蛋糕我配上一杯暖粒粒既Cappuccino, 我加少少糖, 帶出馥郁的咖啡香味, 咖啡面上的泡沫打的好細滑綿密, 入口時口中飄浮著層層泡沫. 過喉時的暖流有著淡淡的幸福感, 邊喝邊看著的路人走過, 坐在這感受到一點寧靜的時光

A few people have joined a La Maison du Chocolate chocolate program class which will last over a few months, with such a rare chance to learn about the production of chocolates and more behind the scenes of this artisanal French Chocolate brand, we joined for an Afternoon Tea session at the Lee Garden branch of LMdC. Started by a chocolatier Robert Linxe from French Basque country, since 1996 he also recruited Nicolas Cloiseau, who later obtained the highest honor of becoming a (MOF) Meilleur Ouvrier de France Chocolatier 2007. He sources ingredients from all over the world for insipiration - it was interesting to learn that since La Maison du Chocolat opened in Hong Kong and Japan, he often sources local Asian ingredients to also make special chocolate versions for the European market !

We were taught through a Powerpoint Presentation and Videos, the production of LMdC Chocolates. Using only a blend of the top Criollo and Trinitario cacao beans.

Some people preferred the Traviata for the crunchy texture. I liked the Salvador for the fruitiness within, each to their own !

Rose Champagne Macaron with Venezuela Dark Chocolate ganache, coated in Cocoa Nibs -
The shells have a slightly chewy texture, and I have always said their texture are textbook perfect in HK context. The girls liked the Whiter version better which carried a stronger Champagne taste, but I myself preferred this version because the more dark fruit yet slightly smoky Venezuela Chocolate attracted me more.

The New Seasonal Xmas Collection Chocolates -
This time we tried the Clementine Square which the citrus fruit is sourced from Corsica, a remote Mediterranean island owned by France, with both imported candied orange and clementine rinds.
The other Praline Masquerade is a favourite for today, using a Scottish Yuletide Fruitcake as a concept, and utilizing Almonds and Tunisian dates, this was very lovable too.

The Ganache inside a La Maison du Chocolat -
They are surprisingly either Plain, Whipped for a more aerated texture, of Pre-infused with flavours. The Chocolate Coating is thin because it is poured over as per French technique, whereas the Switzerland or Belgian or even Spanish version is usually formed in a mould. *I definitely learn something new everyday.

All hand crafted. Apparently the best enjoyment of their chocolates is between a room temperature of between 18C – 20C degrees ! They do make for a prestigious Christmas Gift definitely, our family gets quite a few of them each year. So this time, it was good to learn more about their chocolates finally.

I had time to kill before a late dinner so sneaked a cake at this cafe with a nice ambience situated at the basement level of Lee Gardens. It was an oasis of calm and cool, quiet except for the subdued voices of other patrons. The chocolate dacquoise - with almond and hazelnut and vanilla creme brûlée within - was an attractive dome that tasted like chocolate mousse-praline. I had time to kill before a late dinner so sneaked a cake at this cafe with a nice ambience situated at the basement level of Lee Gardens. It was an oasis of calm and cool, quiet except for the subdued voices of other patrons. 

The chocolate dacquoise - with almond and hazelnut and vanilla creme brûlée within - was an attractive dome that tasted like chocolate mousse-praline. The inner core of vanilla creme brûlée was completely overshadowed by the chocolate and it seemed a waste. The crunchy base matched the nutty chocolate cake quite well. The nut atop was a bit stale, and I didn't care for the gold flakes, however grand others might think them. The hot chocolate was not too sugary, there was a tinge of bitterness and sourness at first but that later subsided. This was likely due to the sweetness of the dacquoise.  

Now for the service, which turned this into a rather distasteful tea. The manner of the staff was haughty and aloof; the management should advise staff against using phrases like "but we only have paid bottled water" when a client casually asked for a glass of water. Also, I agree that chairs must be rearranged to cater for patrons, but it would be nice if the staff could have the courtesy to ask beforehand. And removing things from the table even when the client tried to halt them was unheard of in service industry. 

This tea cost $123 and there was no service charge - I suppose that might explain the service, or the lack thereof.

這杯La Maison du Chovolat 的 Cold Chocolate芳香馥郁,撲鼻竟有花香,入口濃滑,有杏仁香,味蕾更不時感覺到微酸及甘味的微妙交替,個人偏好再加多些凍奶,喝過後有精神煥發的感覺,一切變得天清氣朗,果效有如神丹妙藥。
至於Macaron就與JPH齊名吧,中心的朱古力 Ganache 厚身且香濃軟滑,但仍比Laduree的杏仁餅質素差少許。反而,這兒的caramel eclair就可能是全城至Top,焦糖香而不漏,Puff皮及中心濕潤鬆軟有蛋香,Cream奶味濃郁,下的份量恰當,一口可幹掉一條,送茶送咖啡都極佳,又不大路!

The texture and taste was pathetic.
It tasted like instant frozen hot chocolate with powder that was not stirred properly.
Worst of all it was too sweet and there was no sour taste that you would expect a sorbet to have.
