Boyfriend brought this to my place as he was in Wanchai and saw this place. He originally went here to buy a coconut pie as he wanted to try it and got me a egg pie as I don't like coconut.Quezon Pinoy serves Filipino food and is geared for take away as the shop is really small. Honestly, I don't know much about Filipino food. I have had it maybe twice? I didn't know many Filipinos growing up in Canada.The egg pie was pretty good. It tasted like the Hong Kong egg tart but bigger in size. The crust was a bit too thick and hard. But the custard filling was pretty tasty though not soft. It was bit more rubbery. But tastewise, it was pretty good. Boyfriend said it cost only $12 so that was pretty cheap! I would probably order it again.

这间位于湾仔的小店我其实已去过几次,店子甚为不起眼,且帮衬的多是菲藉人士,但这儿的食物颇特别,价钱亦很相宜!记得几年前到菲律宾则吃过一些corned beef (其实即是咸牛肉和薯仔煮成的一道菲律宾菜) 和 adobo (好像是猪肉和一些醋),一直都念念不忘,今天胆粗粗的问问店员有否这两款,没有咸牛肉,但有ADOBO,于是叫了ADOBO和一些菜 (我也不知是甚么菜),两𩠌饭约$28元,另买了一个好像是甜旦批的东东,约$12。ADOBO好不错!有一种不知怎样形容的特别味道,菜好像有点是瓜类的东东,也好味道好入味。至于甜旦批也很好味,有很香的旦味但又不会过甜,值得一试呀!

Quezon Pinoy专卖菲律宾食物,由骆克道搬咗过嚟石水渠街,可见小铺挨租都唔易生存,不过佢都做咗好几年,可见小店都有一定捧场客,而且售卖唔少特色糕点,贪得意一试无妨。这晚跟食友饭聚,喜获靓女食友赠予一件「蛋批」,拎起非常坠手,咁够份量,就一于当第二朝早餐,正呀!不过,见其他食友所赠嘅喺「椰子批」,似乎仲正仲特别㖞,但乜批都好,都喺老友一番心意,绝对无得比。其实,印象中,菲律宾菜都好似无乜接触过,咁今次又难得可以试番一下。个蛋批以牛油挞皮嚟做个批底及批边,算不上好重牛油味,但做得够薄身,唔会一旧粉咁;而中间吉士蛋浆嘅滑溜度,跟我哋中式蛋挞嘅有得挥,不过蛋味唔算好强,而面层亦比蛋挞烘得较为焦黄,但奇怪又唔似葡挞𠮶重焦香;甜度亦无想像中咁犀利,所以当甜品之余,当早餐亦得,整体都总算唔错,食完令人好饱肚添。谢谢食友令我有此机会品尝菲式蛋批!

那天晚上,我跟好几位食友到中环兰桂芳试食! 食友 Supersupergirl 送上 的 Buko pie 给大家。 多谢妳!这间是售卖菲律宾食品的小店,而她送的 Buko pie 则是一款菲律宾的椰子批! 除了食友 MJQueen 之外,我也佩服食友 Supersupergirl 的冒险精神! 喜欢帮衬新餐厅的我也自愧不如!对自己的口味与喜好,都有不少限制!例如:不食辣、不食内脏、不食牛、尽量不食生冷食物、...等! Buko pie 椰子批这是菲律宾的甜点,单看一件椰子批的卖相,相信原个椰子批都几大! 椰子批夹杂一层一层的椰子肉,相当足料! 还渗出阵阵鲜椰清香!批身湿润!批边有点脆!椰子肉带点爽口清甜,整体甜度恰到好处! 原来菲律宾的甜点却没半点单调!味道来得自然!
