SAFFRON Persian Cuisine 位于嘉利大厦,餐厅地点离地铁站有点远,餐厅面积较细,只有几张枱。但装修用左白色做主调,明亮舒适。食物方面种类唔算多,只有几款牛/羊/鸡的串烧配沙律或米饭,或者3款拌饭。我点了一份免治鸡肉串配米饭免治鸡肉串配米饭份量很大,鸡肉又香又软,非常下饭,米饭像印度米比较偏长偏扁较有口感,但没有米饭香味。份量真的很大,肉太多,菜只有几片,所以有d腻,食唔晒一份要打包。

My “Noosh-e-Jaan” (Bon appetit)debut Persian food experience at Saffron, the first and only Persian Restaurant in HK, and I’ve been awesomely impressed!The dinner started with two traditional Persian Drinks … their signature Saffron Lemonade and I have Orange Blossom Drink which have lovely mellow aroma of orange blossom and slight sweetness.Then we have two yogurt appetisers - Mirza Ghasemi 烤茄子泥 and Mast-O-Khiyar波斯风味青瓜乳酪蘸酱 that pleasantly refreshed our taste buds.Highlight of the dinner obviously is Kebab Lovers杂锦烤肉串 with: Lamb Koobideh 烤免治羊肉串Chicken Koobideh 烤免治鸡肉串Saffron Joojeh Kebab 烤鸡胸肉串Chenjeh (Beef Kebab) 烤牛柳Persian Style BBQ Grilled Chicken Wings 波斯风味烧烤鸡翼Served with Saffron Rice and Flat Bread, 藏红花米饭及中东烤饼, Shirazi Salad and Homemade Garlic, Basil, Chilli Sauces. This is completely stunning and gorgeously delicious 💯We also tried another main course Feserjan 红石榴核桃炖鸡. It’s is a homemade festive Sweet & Sour Stew with Chicken, Pomegranate & Ground Walnuts Sauce. It’s yummy and really one of a kind!This authentic Persian feast was delightfully wrapped up with Classic Baghlava 果仁蜜饼 and Persian Black Tea 波斯红茶. As what my friend mentioned we really enjoyed the experience to taste the delicious food. It’s simple yet sophisticated, authentic and nicely served and presented.Persian food has a subtle balance between the use of fresh herbs and spices, sweet and sour flavour … Persian cuisine mythology of food categorized as either “hot” (garmi) or “cold” (sardi) ie it helps to restore our inner balance. Ghormeh Sabzi 香草羊肉腰豆羹配番红花饭。羊肉羹不仅看来如野菜汤羹,连气味就如搅烂的草药!侍应端上来时,顿时心想:「这气味好古怪,有点像中药,更像台湾7-11的关东煮,但要强上3倍!」吃一口,有一种熟悉的香草味,却又说不出是甚么(苦恼中......)。同时,内里有好多腰豆(难不成这顿饭我所吃的腰豆比我之前所吃的,还要来得多?)羊肉则炆得腍,一嚼就散开,不下于妈煲猪骨汤所剩下的猪肉。惊讶的是,羊肉不膻,还以为是牛腩。番红花饭可没有番红花味,但却粒粒分明且软硬适中,好味!外形看来像印度米,但更长。羊肉羹混和米饭吃,顿昤勾起大学时所吃的粟米肉粒饭!(还好不是肉砖)其实,我觉得这是波斯咖哩。Gheymeh Bademjan蕃茄茄子羊肉羹,拌有黄碗豆和青豆。气味较Ghormeh Sabzi 来正常,而味道则是蕃茄汁味,豆类可以增加咀嚼的层次。羊肉仍然是腍,但膻味较浓,是我喜欢的口味!跟Ghormeh Sabzi 用上一样的香草,就是不懂得它的名称,陷入苦恼......Fesenjan配番红花茶 我喜欢冻饮,但番红花茶却是少数的例外。热的番红花茶能带出番红花茶的香味(近乎的淡淡玫瑰花味),过后还有一股余韵。Fesenjan 是鸡肉羹,甜酸的味道就是淡淡的茄汁酱,好易入口。鸡肉则有肉味,较平常的茶餐厅好不少。

SAFFRON Persian Cuisine @saffron.hk 📍:中环嘉咸街47-53号嘉利大厦地下E号舖🚗:中环地铁D2出口 步行8分钟📞:+852 2595-9900💲:~HKD380/head for dinnerFood quality✔️:Kebab Lovers 总结:😋净系食咗1款 其实说实话换转喺其他餐厅就唔应该写食评嘅 不过由于本身餐厅晚市选择唔多 而且今次叫嘅又系大杂烩 所以都系决定下笔😋作为一间声称全港第一间卖波斯菜嘅餐厅🍴当然就吸引我去试啦 为大家试咩乜都有嘅Kebab Lovers 材料好丰富 有羊肉及鸡肉koobideh(即伊朗碎肉烤串) 、有藏红花嘅烤鸡、牛肉Kebab、鸡翼、小蕃茄、藏红花饭、青椒、Naan、Shiraz沙拉再配自制三款酱:蒜、罗勒同辣椒🌶️😋其实一睇就知份量惊人 最尾我哋系严重食唔哂 波斯菜嚟讲冇好明显食到同其他中东菜系有咩唔同 所以钟爱食中东菜嘅食肉兽朋友可以一试💪🏼🤔️小店关系 所以真系唔多选择拣 不过我一向buy小店专精不专多嘅 所以对我嚟讲唔系缺点🤔️口味唔太重 所以建议都蘸酱食较好 蒜>=罗勒>>>>辣椒😨以呢个收费嚟讲服务可以再做好啲 话哂人均都$300另收加一🥹

As an iraninan, i guarantee their taste is similar to what we have in our country Their kebabs are perfect.Most HKers (same as my gf) can not eat lamb, but i promise you will be ok after trying their lamb. The most famous food of Iran is GhormehSabzi.If you have never tried it, it is a mustIf you are a tea lover, try their Saffron Tea 🍵
