因為有特別日子慶祝,所以食餐豪D。點解揀Toscana?因為HSBC咭有85折外,還送一個蛋榚。因為是平日6點半去到,只有我o地一張,所以侍應都為你服務,簡真係貼身服侍。環境不用多講,當然係星級裝修,好像置身於歐洲的貴族飯廳。首先是餐前麵包,味道只是一般,最突出是洋蔥包,未食已聞到陣陣的洋蔥香。點了菜後先送上餐前小食,是哈蜜瓜他他,上層配以青瓜西芹的沙律,感覺非常清新,而哈蜜瓜他他味道又清甜,是一道不錯的開胃前菜。Prime Ham-一大盤火腿,有一細碟橄欖、青瓜等配菜。每片都切得薄薄,食完後口腔還留了陣陣餘香。鵝肝配帶子南瓜-上層是鵝肝、中間是帶子、墊底是南瓜。可以有兩種食法,分開食,食到鵝肝鮮嫩,外脆內軟、帶子鮮甜、南瓜清甜;另外一齊食,又可以一次過食晒三種味道,感覺特別。鮮蝦risotto-蝦汁加以芝士成的汁非常香濃及野味,不過蝦汁略多了少少;risotto得軟硬度剛好。燒羊鞍-肉質好嫩好嫩,淋上用了黑醋煮成的汁,亦不會搶了羊肉的鮮嫩。暫時是我食過的羊鞍中,這裡質素最好。本來想食軟心朱古力蛋榚,但侍應建議食完蛋榚後,視乎情況再叫。一個半磅的朱古力mousse cake,第一層是鏡

因為是平日6點半去到,只有我o地一張,所以侍應都為你服務,簡真係貼身服侍。環境不用多講,當然係星級裝修,好像置身於歐洲的貴族飯廳。
首先是餐前麵包,味道只是一般,最突出是洋蔥包,未食已聞到陣陣的洋蔥香。
點了菜後先送上餐前小食,是哈蜜瓜他他,上層配以青瓜西芹的沙律,感覺非常清新,而哈蜜瓜他他味道又清甜,是一道不錯的開胃前菜。

鮮蝦risotto-蝦汁加以芝士成的汁非常香濃及野味,不過蝦汁略多了少少;risotto得軟硬度剛好。
燒羊鞍-肉質好嫩好嫩,淋上用了黑醋煮成的汁,亦不會搶了羊肉的鮮嫩。暫時是我食過的羊鞍中,這裡質素最好。
本來想食軟心朱古力蛋榚,但侍應建議食完蛋榚後,視乎情況再叫。
一個半磅的朱古力mousse cake,第一層是鏡面朱古力、第二層是mousse,第三層是朱古力脆脆,最底是普通蛋榚。濃濃的朱古力,味道唔甜、略苦得來又帶點甘香,mousse質感好細滑。
兩個人消滅了半磅蛋糕後,再食唔到其他甜品。加埋餐後有一碟8款的糖果併盤,真是完美的一頓晚餐
折後唔駛1200,真係好抵。

十二月時, 男友同我去慶祝生日頭盤: 帶子加鵝肝主菜: Lobster Linguine, Sirloin steak 同一個煎魚待應很專業地介紹配合各樣菜既餐酒. 之後將每碟菜分好先上枱,最細心既係男友既份量俾我分多少少. 整晚最值得推介既男友預訂既Hazelnuts Chocoloate生日蛋糕,餅底很crispy,朱古力很濃很滑,非常好味~!最後餐廳送上甜酒同甜品platte. 環境夠warm, 窩心既一晚~!

今天是我和她慶祝拍拖五週年的大日子,吃晚飯係當日活動的重頭戲,因此選了這間環境及食物一流的餐廳。餐廳走華麗路線,佈滿水晶燈及油畫,枱與枱之間不算太近,適合情侶談心。是晚的主題是白松露菌,但我們點了A La Carte Menu。先來了一大盤麵飽,有好多款式,沾醋及olive oil好好食,未吃完便成盤refill,女朋友細食,未吃主菜已飽了一半。頭盤點了Prime Ham,用來伴餅乾條吃一流。主菜點了Lobster Linguine,Mixed Seafood及Lamb Rack,每碟portion都比較細。先講Lobster Linguine,龍蝦肉好爽好鮮甜,Linguine幾Al Dente,難怪不少食友推介。Mixed Seafood有石班、帶子、龍蝦肉,Sauce係茄汁,味道較濃,可以不叫。Lamb Rack要了medium,外脆內軟,肉質一流。吃個主菜後,侍應遞上了迷你甜品拼盤,賣相精緻,還有寫上名字的朱古力牌。最後甜品點了Chocolate Fondant,從中間切開,朱古力漿源源湧出,沾上雪糕來吃,好味得令人感動,應該是吃個最好吃的朱古力軟心蛋糕。女朋友出名咀叼,但也對

Dine out with my wife for her birthdayEuropean-like environment.Fine food and good service.Lobster Lingulae is fantastic. The hot chocolate Fontant is very good also.Sirloin steak very wellReasonable price for this grade of environment, service and food. (reasonable but definitely quite expensive)

Foodarma ham - excellent taste. Ole's Spanish ham still the best but this is also perfect.Tomatoe soup - can try but not a must.Lobster Linguine - perfect. Must try.Lamp - perfect. Crispy outside, juicy and tender inside. Cannot ask for more.Soffle - can try but not a must.Chocolate cake - again perfect score.Overall:Value for money. Excellent service. Won't regret.

Parma ham - excellent taste. Ole's Spanish ham still the best but this is also perfect.

Tomatoe soup - can try but not a must.

Lobster Linguine - perfect. Must try.

Chocolate cake - again perfect score.

Overall:

24/6/06 12:00 打晒所有金鐘及中環酒店T-BUFFET 全FULL, 只有麗嘉有位, $208加一, 上去後, 環境很好, 不過我的座位是梳化, 後來改去旁, 可惜有人吃煙.談回食物, 很美味, 有魚生,壽C, 中式點心, 炸蝦,沙律.甜點蛋糕很美味,雲厘拿雪糕及雪巴, 頂瓜瓜,最好是蘋果紅茶, 很正, 一路飲, 一路看街景, 十分正.不過有些椅子很舊.

一家人於父親節前的週六中午,一同到此跟爸爸提早慶祝。甫踏進餐廳便有一種似曾相識的感覺。對,這兒無論是裝修,陳設,格調,以至放在餐廳中心,差不多一百朵的Casablanca百合花,跟美國比華利山四季酒店內的"The Blvd"如出一轍。有別的是,"The Blvd"窗外是比華利山名店林立的寧靜街道;而這兒窗外卻是車水馬龍的干諾道中。遲來的弟弟,被拒於門外,只因短褲下的一雙毛蹆不太受歡迎。要勞煩侍應為他大少爺張羅長褲一條,方可安頓下來跟我們一同午膳。果真經典...爸爸要了客七成熟的澳洲和牛,質數以至火喉控制也是水準之上,只是爸爸仍留戀着A5的松板牛肉。反而麵包籃內的Focaccia給他幹掉了大半。除了爸爸外,眾人均點了半自助餐。半自助餐的頭盤選擇有限,多是意式的開胃小吃跟沙津,均不是我的所好,只吃了兩片煙三文魚。主菜點了羊架,汁多肉嫩,但有欠羊的羶香。幸而手中的那杯Shiraz,尚算不俗。自助甜品是西式的蛋糕、果撻及慕士等,均精細可以。最後送上的是酒店出品的精緻巧克力,可惜味道及用料均不是我的那杯茶。服務嘛,不是不好,但感覺是,侍應們想給你知道他們正在給予你星級酒店的服務。但我卻不見得他們

服務嘛,不是不好,但感覺是,侍應們想給你知道他們正在給予你星級酒店的服務。但我卻不見得他們有心意去洞悉顧客所需,而提供相應的服務。就似是一個口口聲聲說愛你的人,只曉得老纒着你,但卻從來不曾想過去了解你,切切實實的照顧你,給你幸福。這樣的愛,跟所謂的星級服務一樣,只是枉然。

雖然話係我個人o既工作突破, 但係老闆好似仲開心過我! 平時都幾孤寒o既佢今次花左幾千蚊請食飯都面不改容. 能夠搵到咁o既老闆, 真係好好彩! 所以以後都要加倍努力!

The place is nice, high ceilings which i like but it gets too noisy when the echos from other tables bounce back down to you from the ceilings. Perhaps they can work on that by putting in thicker carpets or thick curtains on the walls. Has no view.As for the food, didn't notice any set menu, for a lazy person like me, i prefer places with set menus so i don't have to think too hard on which combination is good to go with which food. With a place like this, i should have done more homework bef

As for the food, didn't notice any set menu, for a lazy person like me, i prefer places with set menus so i don't have to think too hard on which combination is good to go with which food. With a place like this, i should have done more homework before i go, because if the food you ordered didn't really go well together or isn't their specialty, it can be an expensive lesson. Maybe i didn't choose the best of their food, so i thought it was just ok, not as good as i had expected. Have to go there again and give a fair review about their food.

To be frank, Good was good but Sabatini is slightly better. Ambiance is good, very quite and elegant, being well served. Many people would definitely compare Toscana with Sabatini. But actually I think they have a different focus. Only for the Food, Sabatini is definitely the best. But Toscana put more emphasis on the environment and services (I'm not saying that Sabatini's environment is not good, but Sabatini is more relax and casual, deco. is more Italian style)But it's a great and exce

To be frank, Good was good but Sabatini is slightly better.

Ambiance is good, very quite and elegant, being well served.

Many people would definitely compare Toscana with Sabatini. But actually I think they have a different focus. Only for the Food, Sabatini is definitely the best. But Toscana put more emphasis on the environment and services (I'm not saying that Sabatini's environment is not good, but Sabatini is more relax and casual, deco. is more Italian style)

But it's a great and excellent experience dining in Toscana.

今日同朋友一行三人去食Lunch Semi-Buffet,自助頭盤加甜品。有其他食家覺得頭盤好少選擇,但我覺得幾好;食意大利菜應有o既野都有齊晒:Green Salad、Sundried Tomato、White Aaparagus、Parma Ham、Grilled Courgette 、Artichoke、Pasta Salad、Cheese Platter、Smoked Salmon、Olives、Tomato & Mozzarella Salad等等等等。仲有食完再添,添完再食o既Bread basket、Focaccia超好味、olive oil + balsamic vinegar 超正,我忍唔得口,食完頭盤都包左一半。主菜我揀左Lam Chops,朋友分別揀左Veal Cheeks 同Lobster Linguine。好味,連伴碟o既Mashed Potato都好好。朋友亦都好欣賞Linguine o既麵質。甜品都有好多,有chocolate cake 有cheese cake,亦都有細細杯玩精緻o既pudding、fool、trifle o個d。但係個肚開始冇位,所以淨

甜品都有好多,有chocolate cake 有cheese cake,亦都有細細杯玩精緻o既pudding、fool、trifle o個d。但係個肚開始冇位,所以淨係食左兩大大大大羹我o既至愛--- Bread Pudding,嘩!好食到o丫!我當堂發出陣陣滿足o既唔唔聲。最美中不足就係d vanilla sauce 冇「興」住,凍o既,影響左本應熱o辣o辣o既bread pudding。

個set本身$238一位,我地另外叫左三杯fresh juice 同一枝水,埋單加貼士每人400。Oh,上次夜晚黎食,忍住口唔飲咁多酒都每人過千,今次好抵!

Was there one evening in Feb with a friend. My friend asked me to pick one from this, Felix, Morton's and the new Four Seasons. I quickly ruled out Felix as I don't care too much for their fusion. Four Seasons recently gave me a bad dining experience in Toronto with a bone dry duck confit. Didn't have a big appetite enough for steak so no Morton's. I checked out the comments about Toscana here and it seems more than fine with me.

My friend doesn't drink so I ordered a wine by the glass. I wanted to get Valpolicella but it's only by the bottle so settled with a Chianti.

When I asked about the tuna dish it turned into a small episode itself. Our waitress couldn't answer what kind of tuna it was so the maitre d', who speaks English with an accent, came and I repeat the question to him. He didn't understand what I meant by asking what kind of tuna so I change my question to what species. He had a big question mark on his face and repeated after me with a big "WHAT SPECIES??" So I name the common species to him and he felt offended and just told me he didn't know of the species. I quickly ended his embarrassment by asking if it's the regular red tuna and if it's cooked pink in the centre which he quickly answer with a yes and yes and we're all happy. I might have pushed a bit but I always like to ask uncommon questions just to see how much they like their food.

I ordered a pan-seared fois gras (turned to a fab these days) to start, a filet mignon (beef tenderloin on the menu). My friend ordered a mix green to start with and a pan-fried fish fillet (can't remember what fish now)

They started our meal with a complimentary cold fruit soup (more like a puree) served on martini glasses which was quite refreshing. There was a piece of fois gras with my friend's salad but she didn't feel like it so I ended up with 3 pieces of seared fois gras. No complaint about them but I had my payback time later that night when I went to bed.....

My filet mignon was actually very good. Cooked just right with a nice mouth feel with every bite. My friend's fish fillet was overpowered by other tastes. Too much infusion going on and we couldn't taste any fish at all. That dish was a turn-off.

We took the advice from the reviewers here at this website and ordered a pear tart and a molten chocolate cake. Excellent pear pie. Just the right sweetness and flakiness with a good balance of flavours. The molten chocolate cake was good but lacking any surprising factors.

There was a disappointing delay with our tea serving. We later learnt that their computer had broken down right at that point. But there weren't too many diners that day and we still think they should've been a little more attentive than totally forgetting our orders when we were clearly waiting for something to go with our tart and cake.

Our meal ended with a complimentary plate of assorted bonbons. Tres bon. Because of the computer breakdown, our check came hand written and calculated. I actually found it quite home feel with a human touch.

Overall, it's a good dining experience with good food, except the fish, good service and ambiance, and good intervals between the courses. Me and my friend enjoy the place and our conversation.

Lulula said 侍應大部份亦只說英語. From my observation it's not. The maitre d' is the only non-chinese speaking person on the floor.

只想講, 如果話「所有食品都是below averag」, 請講出如何不濟. HK$ 120 House Red per glass 响中環五星酒店係正路價. 至於Size方面. 正規是2/3滿, 因為要留空間俾杯酒接觸空氣.水的問題, 應當面提出, 事後抱怨係無用「但那幾幅大畫就不好看,完全沒有畫的味道。」Finally, 請賜教何謂有畫的味道....snake, 閣下的食評都萛係不知所謂....
